RNA - "The Syrian army has sent fresh forces and equipment to its positions near Albu Kamal in Eastern Deir Ezzur and at the border with Iraq," field sources in Eastern Syria said on Thursday.

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

Deir Ezzur

The Syrian army is strengthening its military buildup in Eastern Deir Ezzur, preparing for purging operations against the ISIL in Badiyeh (desert) region.

Field sources in Eastern Syria reported on Thursday that the Syrian army has sent fresh forces and equipment to its positions near Albu Kamal in Eastern Deir Ezzur and at the border with Iraq.

They added that the Syrian army's convoys have been sent from different parts of the country, including Homs and Hama, to Eastern Deir Ezzur in the past 2 weeks, saying that the army is preparing for extensive military operations to cleanse the ISIL terrorists from Badiyeh of Albu Kamal amid the latter's increased offensives on army positions.

Meantime, the Syrian air force launched airstrikes on ISIL positions and moves near Awiraz dam, areas near the T3 station and the administrative borders of Deir Ezzur with the Eastern Badiyeh of Homs, killing and wounding several terrorists and destroying their military equipment.

Idlib

Tensions among terrorist groups and insecurities in regions occupied by militants in Idlib province have exacerbated, field sources in Northern Syria said, adding that another senior Ankara-backed commander has also been recently killed in the region.

The sources reported on Thursday that a commander of Faylaq al-Sham affiliated to the so-called National Liberation Front (NLF) terrorist group supported by Turkey named Abu al-Bara al-Homsi was killed by gun fire of unknown raiders in the village of al-Janodiyeh in Western Idlib.

Also, a commander of Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) named Abu Abdolsami was killed near the town of Kafr Nobl in Southwestern Idlib by unknown assailants.

The sources said that tensions have heightened among the NLF and Tahrir al-Sham in Southwestern Idlib, adding that the NLF has closed the road between the village of al-Anqawi and Jabal al-Zawiyeh region after Tahrir al-Sham strengthened its positions in the region.

Hama

The Syrian army repelled militants' offensive in the demilitarized zone in Hama, Idlib and Aleppo as reports said that the terrorists have further equipped their members with more weapons and military grid.

According to Fars News Agancy, the Syrian army forces pounded the terrorists' positions in al-Ziyarah and al-Sarmaniyeh with artillery and missile fire on Thursday as they wanted to infiltrate into the army positions in Northwestern Hama from the demilitarized zone, inflicting heavy tolls on them.

Meantime, the Syrian army troops launched artillery attacks against the terrorists' moves and positions in the towns of al-Latamineh, al-Zakat, Murak, al-Arba'een, Tal al-Sakhar, Lahaya, al-Jaisat, al-Jaberiyeh and Tal Hawash in Northern Hama.

The army units also targeted the militants' moves in al-Khowayn, Sakik, al-Katibeh and al-Mahjoureh, warding off their offensives and forcing others to flee.

Aleppo

A commander of the US-supported Syrian Democratic Forces was killed in Manbij in Northeastern Aleppo as tensions have heightened between the SDF and civilians in the region.

Media activists in Eastern Aleppo reported on Thursday that a bomb was detonated on al-Jazeera road near Manbij, targeting and killing SDF's intelligence commander Morad.

Reports from Manbij said that the SDF forces have increased forced recruitment from civilians recently; adding that acute shortage of fuel in the past week has angered the people residing in the region.

Several SDF forces have been killed and wounded in sporadic attacks in the past few days.
