Syria in Last 24 Hours:
Rasa - The Damascus Army's elite forces, along with a large volume of arms, ammunition and equipment, arrived in the Eastern desert of Sweida over the past 24 hours to purge Toloul al-Safa of ISIL terrorists.

RNA - A large number of elite forces and a large volume of weapons and munitions have arrived in the Eastern desert of Sweida to counter ISIL in Toloul al-Safa rugged terrain.

 

The army has also forwarded heavy military hardware, including Golan-1,000 Missile launchpads, to Toloul al-Safa.

 

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

 

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

 

Sweida

 

The Syrian Army's elite forces, along with a large volume of arms, ammunition and equipment, arrived in the Eastern desert of Sweida on Monday to purge Toloul al-Safa of ISIL terrorists.

 

A large number of elite forces and a large volume of weapons and munitions have arrived in the Eastern desert of Sweida to counter ISIL in Toloul al-Safa rugged terrain.

 

In the meantime, the army's experienced soldiers that had participated in battle against ISIL in Hajar al-Aswad and in Southern Damascus and Hawz Yarmouk in Southwestern Dara'a have also been dispatched to Toloul al-Safa to join battle against ISIL.

 

The army has also forwarded heavy military hardware, including Golan-1,000 Missile launchpads, to Toloul al-Safa.

 

Local sources said that the army intends to stage heavy attack on the ISIL to purge the Eastern desert of Sweida of ISIL completely after liberation of hostages that were ISIL's last pressure leverage on the army to halt its operation in the region.

 

In the meantime, the army's artillery and missile units have been continuously pounding ISIL's positions and movements in the region to weaken their defense capabilities. 

 

Aleppo

 

The Ankara-backed terrorists continue occupation of Afrin region in Northwestern Aleppo, stealing antiques and people's properties, a Kurdish-language media outlet reported on Monday.

 

Hawar news reported that Ahrar al-Sharqiyah terrorists, affiliated to the Turkish Army, have started excavation operation in Af Qayri cemetery in Mobata region in Afrin to find gold and antiques, adding that the Ankara forces destroyed the graveyard and looted historical artifacts.

 

It further said that Turkish army men broke into residential units in the village of Borj Abadlou in Shirawa, stealing public assets after killing one of the family's members.

 

Hawar news went on to say that the Ankara forces have arrested over 2,500 civilians since March, adding that the fate of 850 is unknown.  

 

Deir Ezzur

 

A sum of 20 ISIL terrorists were killed or wounded after their key positions in Southeastern Deir Ezzur came under missile attack by the Iraqi popular forces of Hashd al-Sha'abi on Monday.

 

Commander of Hashd al-Sha'abi in Western Anbar Qassem Mosleh said that their missile units pounded ISIL's vital positions in al-Marashadah, Mozan, al-Sousah and al-Baqouz Foqani regions in Southeastern Deir Ezzur, killing 13 terrorists and wounding 7 more.

 

The missile units targeted a number of bases, arms depots and military hardware of the ISIL.   

 

Lattakia

 

Terrorists, deployed in Western Idlib's demilitarized zone, are preparing for an imminent heavy attack on the Syrian Army troops in Northeastern Lattakia, an army field commander said on Monday.

 

The commander said that the army has been monitoring movements of the terrorists in the small town of Badama in Jisr al-Shughour region in Western Idlib near the administrative border with Lattakia, adding that the terrorists are preparing for a large-scale attack on the army in Lattakia.

 

The commander further said that the terrorists are building more positions and tunnels on the hills near the town of Kabani in Northeastern Lattakia in the demilitarized zone envisioned by the Sochi Agreement.

 

Terrorists of the National Liberation Front had also declared preparedness to join attacks on army after a call by Ahrar al-Sham on militants in Northern and Northwestern Syria.
