RNA – A conference on the decline of the United States was organized by the Arba’in Committee of the Province of Qom on November 5th at the Qom Mosalla (Prayer Hall).
In his remarks at the conference, Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam (NOI) in the United States, stated, “It’s a great honour for me to be in this holy city of Qom after 22 years.”
The human rights activist in the United States added, “The last time I traveled to Iran was when I lectured at one of the universities and the students welcomed my remarks and I’m proud to be in Iran during this sensitive time in the country.”
Referring to the new sanctions imposed on Iran by the United States on November 5th, he said “The sanctions are bitter for the Iranian people but you are supported by the power and strength of your faith. Therefore, don’t be afraid of these hardships and bitterness and know that God is always with you.”
Mr. Farrakhan stressed, “The United States has delivered the ultimate hostility by implementing the most severe sanctions against Iran, which are being pursued with the intent of defeating the spirit of the Islamic Revolution, namely, Islam but as long as you the people, as the followers and the children of Imam Khomeyni, are present on the battlefield, the United States is not able to defeat your revolution.”
He criticized the anti-Iranian and anti-Islamic policies of the United States, saying, “The United States and [its president, Donald Trump] sold $110 billion worth of weapons to Saudi Arabia which uses these bullets against the chests of Muslims around the world.”
The human rights activist continued, “The United States called on Muhammad ibn Salman [the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia] to gather all the Sunni elders in Riyadh to deliver the particular message he wanted to bring them. If you listened to ibn Salman, the core of his message was to incite the Sunnis against the Shi’ahs, especially the Shi’ahs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
In another part of his remarks, Mr. Farrakhan referred the great march of Arba’in as the path of the participation of Muslim in understanding the greatness and goals of Imam al-Husayn and said, “The enemies of Islam at that time trampled the body of Imam al-Husayn with the hooves of their horses and separated him from his companion in order to conceal his memory and message in the plains of Karbala but this martyrdom led to the formation of a new school of thought of jihad and martyrdom.”
His Eminence also stated, “I represent a group of Africans who were brought to the United States by a group of tyrannical Whites. Our ancestors were Muslims but the United States enslaved us in order to take our identity. We are second-rate citizens in the United States but they couldn’t take the light of faith from us. That is why the exclamation of ‘Allahu Akbar’ [‘God is the greatest’] and adhan [the call to prayer] are heard all over the United States.”
