RNA – A conference on the decline of the United States was organized by the Arba’in Committee of the Province of Qom on November 5th at the Qom Mosalla (Prayer Hall).
At the beginning of the conference, Nader Talebzadeh, a political activist and media and cinema expert, introduced Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam (NOI) in the United States, and stated that his presence in the Islamic Republic of Iran and in the holy city of Qom is a great event.
In his remarks, Mr. Farrakhan said, “My country, the United States, has not been a good friend to the Islamic Republic of Iran for many years. The American hostility towards Iran began during the era of Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh, when the Iranian government wanted to cut off the hand of the United States from Iranian oil.”
It should be noted that Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh was the head of a democratically elected government that was overthrown in a coup d’état orchestrated by the United States’ Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the United Kingdom’s Secret Intelligence Service (MI6).
The human rights activist in the United States added, “Through the tongue of a man who descended of the Prophet Muhammad [Imam Khomeyni], God Almighty demonstrated his voice and sovereignty to the world. As a result, American hostility has increased, especially since Imam Khomeyni launched the Islamic Revolution and this conflict and hostility are continuing.”
It is worth mentioning that a number of provincial officials, members of the Nation of Islam from the United States, university and seminary professor and seminarians from the Islamic Seminary of Qom attended the conference.
