RNA – A conference on "the Decline of the United States" was organized by the Arba’in Committee of the ‎Province of Qom on November 5th at the Qom Mosalla (Prayer Hall).‎

Speaking at the conference, Nader Talebzadeh, a renowned Iranian political scientist, referred to the ‎presence of Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam (NOI), in Iran and said, “He came to Iran ‎during a very sensitive time and his surprising presence has attracted international organizations because ‎when national solidarity occurs in the United States, he is in the first row.”‎

The film director said that Mr. Farrakhan is a representative of African American Muslims in the United ‎States and added, “He also has a special influence among Christians of colour and that the followers of ‎various religions in the United States have a special respect for him. Thus, at a time when Trump declares ‎stronger sanctions against Iran, [Farrakhan’s] presence in Iran will be considered as a great risk.”‎

Mr. Talebzadeh added that Mr. Farrakhan’s words are influential among American Christians because he is ‎fully aware of the Bible, art and the Quran and also knows psychology. Today, after 22 years, he came to ‎Iran and had a sincere meeting with the Supreme Leader of the Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei].”‎

Stressing that the United States is angry with our nation, he said, “Today, I saw anger over the presence of ‎Mr. Farrakhan in Iran in American and Israeli newspapers and undoubtedly, the sacrifice, selflessness and ‎devotion of the Nation of Islam is evident in this movement.” ‎

The expert in political affairs said, “This movement and Mr. Farrakhan have made great efforts for the ‎victory of the Muslims. One of their main beliefs is the expectation of the advent of the Imam of the Time to ‎the extent that he and the Islamic Movement in the United States have a special dedication to Imam al-‎Mahdi.”‎

In conclusion, Mr. Talebzadeh added, “We appreciate this opportunity and we hope that these events will ‎continue in Islamic Iran and in other world-renowned cities such as Qom, so that the hegemonic United ‎States will know that Islam, our religion and our revolution will not suffer from decline.”‎
