RAN - The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on Sunday that Turkey has failed to convince terrorist groups to withdraw from the demilitarized zone mentioned in the Sochi Agreements that covers parts of Lattakia, Idlib, Hama and Aleppo provinces a week after the agreement's deadline of October 15.

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

Lattakia

Ankara has failed to persuade terrorist groups to leave the demilitarized zone in Northeastern Lattakia, Southern Idlib, Northeastern Hama and Western Aleppo one week after deadline mentioned in Sochi Agreement ended, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Sunday.

The SOHR reported that Turkey has failed to convince terrorist groups to withdraw from the demilitarized zone mentioned in the Sochi Agreements that covers parts of Lattakia, Idlib, Hama and Aleppo provinces a week after the agreement's deadline of October 15.

In the meantime, Syria's state-run al-Watan daily pointed to the failure of Turkey in expelling terrorists from the demilitarized zone, and said that the Syrian Army's artillery units pounded the movements of Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) terrorists that tried to prevail over the army's positions in al-Latamina region in Northeastern Hama and in the village of al-Zarzour in Southeastern Idlib.

A number of Tahrir al-Sham terrorists were killed or wounded in the army's artillery attack.

Analysts believe that Syrian Army is likely to conduct military operation in Northern and Northwestern parts of the country as terrorist groups have showed no intention to leave the demilitarized zone.

Idlib

A bomb-laden vehicle went off in the Central part of Idlib city in Northwestern Syria controlled by Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at, leaving tens of people and terrorists dead or wounded on Sunday.

According to Fars News Agancy, the bomb-laden vehicle broke out in al-Qosour neighborhood in Central Idlib that is under Tahrir al-Sham's control and destroyed several buildings.

Al-Qosour is home to houses and base of Turkistani and other Asian terrorists, a militant-affiliated source disclosed, adding that Tahrir al-Sham and Uzbek and Turkistani terrorists laid siege on the neighborhood and kept gunmen on alert.

At least 6 people were killed and 25 others, including civilians and non-Syrian members of Tahrir al-sham were killed in the blast.

Aleppo

Over 10 Turkish army soldiers and Ankara-backed militants have been killed in Kurdish militia attacks in Afrin region in Northwestern Aleppo during last week, a Kurdish media outlet reported on Sunday.

The Kurdish-language Hawar news reported that 2 bombs, planted by the Kurdish militias in the Turkish army vehicles, broke out in al-Maqla'a area in Tarandah neighborhood in the town of Afrin, killing 4 Turkish soldiers and injuring 3 more.

It further said that the Kurdish gunmen attacked one of the bases of Ankara-backed Ahrar al-Sharqiyah in the village of Qastal Khazriya in Bolboleh region, killing two militants.

The report added that a Turkish army vehicle was targeted along a road to Mobata region that left a soldier dead, adding that the Kurds launched another attack on a military vehicle of Ankara forces along a road to Rajou region, killing two more Turkish soldiers.
