Aleppo

The Syrian Army dispatched a long convoy of military vehicles to Western Aleppo on Saturday after terrorists of Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at continued shelling safe zones in the region.

The army forwarded a military convoy, including several vehicles, military hardware and a large number of soldiers, to its positions in Jam'iyat al-Zahra region in Western Aleppo.

The army's decision came after Tahrir al-Sham launched missile attack on safe zones in Western Aleppo and also the group's refusal to leave the demilitarized zone in Western Aleppo under the Sochi Agreement.

They said that the army's artillery and missile units managed to retaliate and shelled terrorists' positions and movements in Northwestern Aleppo, adding that heavy fighting between the army and terrorists erupted in the Western direction of Jam'iyat al-Zahra.

Idlib

Al-Nusra terrorists intensified attacks on army positions in the demilitarized zone in Northern Hama and Southern Idlib and were sending heavy weapons to the region in violation of the Sochi Agreement.

Field sources in Northern Syria reported that Tahrir al-Sham militants and other allied terrorists launched heavy artillery and mortar attacks against the army-controlled positions and towns in Northern Hama and Southeastern Idlib.

They added that the terrorists have also pounded the army points in Northern Lattakia and Sahl al-Qab region, noting that they have dispatched more heavy weapons to the region to attack the army targets.

Meantime, reports said that after heightened tensions in Hama and Idlib, the Syrian army has sent its renowned General Suheil al-Hassan, the commander of the Tiger Forces, to Abu al-Zohour airbase in Eastern Idlib.

The Syrian army will likely use the military option against the terrorists if they still avoid withdrawal from the weapons-free zone.
