Sweida

The Syrian Army dispatched hundreds of forces and more military equipment to the Eastern desert of Sweida on Saturday to hunt the remaining pockets of the ISIL.

The army forwarded two military convoys, including several trucks of arms and military equipment and several heavy military vehicles from Dara'a to the villages of al-Qasr and al-Saqiyah in Sweida desert.

Also, the army dispatched over 600 fresh forces, including a sum of 150 tribal fighters, to the rugged terrain in Toloul al-Safar region.

The army further sent a number of ex-militants that had received government amnesty to counter ISIL in Northeastern Sweida.

In the meantime, the army's artillery and missile units pounded ISIL's movements and strongholds in Toloul al-Safa, destroying a number of their hideouts and killing a number of the terrorists.

Meanwhile, field sources said that the army has fortified its newly-captured positions in Toloul al-Safa, adding that the army units repelled several ISIL offensives aimed at lifting the siege of the terrorists trapped in Toloul al-Safa.

Lattakia

Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) and its allied terrorists continued to reinvigorate their defensive and offensive capabilities in Northern Lattakia, refusing to leave the demilitarized zone under the Sochi Agreement, The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on Saturday.

SOHR reported that Tahrir al-Sham, Turkistani Islamic Party, Horas al-Deen, Ansar al-Deen and other terrorist groups that are included in the Sochi Agreement, endorsed by Russia and Turkey, have not thus far withdrawn fighters and weapons from the zone that stretches from Northeastern Lattakia to Northwestern Aleppo.

In the meantime, the Arabic-language website of Sputnik reported that Tahrir al-Sham and Turkistani Islamic Party launched missile attacks on army positions in Northeastern Lattakia and also the army's strongholds in a region near Idlib province on Thursday.

It further said that the army units detected terrorists' positions for launching Grade missiles in Qala al-Maziq in Jabal al-Zaviyeh and in the town of Bedama in Lattakia province that are controlled by Tahrir al-Sham.

It went on to say that the terrorists have continued reinvigoration of positions on a daily basis to intensify provocative measures in the region.

Idlib

Two notorious commanders of Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at and National Liberation Front (NLF) were killed in a bomb and gun fire attacks by unidentified raiders in Southern Idlib on Saturday.

Meanwhile, a number of NLF fighters were killed or injured after a bomb went off near their base in the town of al-Artab in Western Aleppo.

Infighting and assassination operations have increased further in Northern Syria after the endorsement of the Sochi Agreement by Russia and Turkey that ruled for the establishment of a demilitarized zone in Idlib.

Hasaka

Vast popular uprising against security members of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has been reported again in Hasaka province, Syrian state news agency reported on Saturday.

SANA reported that tens of Hasaka residents poured into the streets in al-Nashvah neighborhood in Hasaka city, demonstrating against SDF-affiliated Asayesh security forces that prevented the school goers from going to centers that are still teaching the Damascus government's educational system.

It went on to say that the protestors opposed the Asayesh's measures in preventing public vehicles, including taxis and school transportation vehicles, from transferring the school goers to government-affiliated educational centers in different neighborhoods in Hasaka city.

SANA further said that the Asayesh is planning to cancel the Damascus government's educational system and imposed their own curriculum on the school goers, but have faced strong popular resistance.

It said that the SDF also continues arresting young men in Hasaka city to send them to military training camps.
