RNA - The Syrian Army struck several terrorists' sites near the Turkish military’s observation post in the Southwestern countryside of the province, a military source said.

 

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

 

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

 

Aleppo

 

The Syrian Army unleashed a flurry of missiles and artillery shells towards the terrorist-held areas near Rashedeen 4 and 5 districts in Southwestern Aleppo after the latter attacked several neighborhoods West of Aleppo city.

 

According to a military source in Aleppo city, the Syrian Army struck several terrorist sites near the Turkish military’s observation post in the Southwestern countryside of the province.

 

The informed source went on to say that the Syrian Army is still striking the terrorists' positions near Rashedeen 4 and 5 areas in retaliation for their attack on the Al-Hamdaniyah and New Aleppo districts.

 

The terrorist attack on the neighborhoods wounded at least half dozen civilians, who are now seeking treatment for their injuries at a nearby hospital.

 

Hama

 

According to Fars News Agency, the Syrian Army men repelled a heavy offensive of the terrorists in the demilitarized zone in Northern Hama on Saturday, inflicting major losses on the militants.

 

The army forces, supported by artillery and missile units, engaged in heavy fighting with terrorists of Kata'eb al-Izzah near the villages of Ma'arkabah and Lahaya in the demilitarized zone in Northern Hama, fending off their heavy offensive.

 

Terrorists suffered heavy casualties and were forced to retreat from the battlefield.

 

Sweida

 

The Syrian Army troops continued storming ISIL's strongholds in the Eastern deserts of Sweida on Saturday, capturing more key positions in Toloul al-Safa rugged terrain.

 

The army men, backed up by artillery units and Air Force, managed to push ISIL back 200 meters from its key positions in the rocks in Toloul al-Safa, deploying a few hundred meters away from a key height near Qabr Sheikh Hossein.

 

Local sources said that once the army captures the key height it would be able to impose military control over Qabr Sheikh Hossein that is home to the terrorists command center, and bring the entire Toloul al-Safa region under control.
