Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.
Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.
Sweida
The Syrian army continued hunting ISIL in the Eastern desert of Sweida on Friday and captured one more strategic region.
The army units engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL in the depth of the rocks in Tolou al-Safa in the Eastern deserts of Sweida, seizing control over several positions and heights in Qabr Sheikh Hossein flank.
Other units of the army managed to capture Qa'a al-Banat region Northwest of Sweida desert.
In the meantime, local sources said that large areas in Western and Southwestern directions of Qabr Sheikh Hossein have come under the army's control, adding that the army is advancing in the depth of ISIL-held regions, and imposed military control over several key areas.
On Thursday, the army units continued clashes with the terrorists from several fronts in Toloul al-Safa rugged terrain in the Eastern desert of Sweida, capturing more regions, including several caves and hideouts of the militants, and killing a number of them, including several snipers.
Meantime, the Syrian army's air force and artillery units targeted the terrorists' moves and strongholds in the rocky areas of Qabr Sheikh Hassan and in depth of Toloul al-Safa, destroying their positions and military equipment and inflicting tolls on them.
Field sources said that the terrorists' defense lines have collapsed and their supply lines were destroyed in Toloul al-Safa after the Syrian army recaptured the region's water resources.
Also, the Syrian army foiled the terrorists' attempts to flee from the region.
Hama
Terrorists of Horas al-Deen launched mortar and missile attacks of the Syrian Army positions in Shochi Agreement's demilitarized zone in Northern Hama, a Russian media outlet reported on Friday.
According to Fars News Agancy, the Arabic-language website of Sputnik reported that Horas al-Deen targeted the army's positions in Tal Bazam and Tal al-Zahara near the town of Souran with several missiles and mortars violating the demilitarized zone agreement concluded in Russia's Sochi last month.
It further said that the army's artillery and missile unit opened heavy firer on terrorists' movements and positions in the region.
The report went on to say that positions of Horas al-Deen are near the Turkish army's monitoring posts in the town of Morek, adding that terrorists have been using the Turkish post to hide.
Horas al-Deen, in a statement, had recently rejected the Sochi Agreement on Idlib.
Dara'a
A large convoy of former rebels of Free Syrian Army (FSA) was seen leaving Dara’a province for the Al-Safa region in Northeastern Sweida, a military source said.
According to the source, the large convoy consisted of more than 300 rebels from the Southern town of Busra Al-Sham in Dara’a, the AMN reported.
The Al-Safa region has long been under the occupation of the ISIL; it is also the area that is under their control in southern Syria.
Due to the difficulty of the battle, the Syrian Arab Army needs all the personnel they can get to overpower the last ISIL terrorists that are deeply entrenched in the Al-Safa region.
