Syria in Last 24 Hours:
Rasa - The Damascus army earned control of more regions over the past 24 hours by advancing in Toloul al-Safa rugged terrain and defeating the ISIL in the Eastern Badiyeh (desert) of Sweida.

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

 

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

 

Sweida

Meantime, the Syrian army's air force and artillery units targeted the terrorists' moves and strongholds in the rocky areas of Qabr Sheikh Hassan and in depth of Toloul al-Safa, destroying their positions and military equipment and inflicting tolls on them.

 

Field sources said that the terrorists' defense lines have collapsed and their supply lines were destroyed in Toloul al-Safa after the Syrian army recaptured the region's water resources.

 

Also, the Syrian army foiled the terrorists' attempts to flee from the region.

 

Aleppo

 

The Ankara-Backed militants in Afrin in Western Aleppo still continue stealing the historical artifacts and usurping private properties, assets, farms and lands in the region, local sources reported on Thursday.

 

The sources said that the Ankara-backed Faylaq al-Awwal militants are plundering the artifacts in Cyrrhus (a city in ancient Syria founded by Seleucus Nicator, one of Alexander the Great's generals) known among Arabs as Nebi Huri castle in Northeastern Afrin.

 

They added that the commander of the terrorist group also monitors extensive excavation operations in the historical sites in the region, saying that the militants sell the artifacts in local and regional markets or transfer them to other regions.

 

Also, other reports said that the former commander of Faylaq al-Rahman terrorist group in Eastern Ghouta of Damascus has arrived at an agreement with the local council of Afrin to take control of a large mountainous area between Bastouleh and Afrin that is home to many villages later sell their control to other terrorists.

 

Idlib

 

Infighting among Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) and National Liberation Front terrorists have increased, local sources in Northern Idlib reported, adding that the NLF has sent more military equipment to the region.

 

The sources said that Tahrir al-Sham and NLF terrorists engaged in clashes near the town of Zardana, adding that several militants of both sides as well as civilians were killed and wounded.

 

They added that the clashes erupted after Jeish al-Ahrar terrorists, affiliated to the NLF, detained a member of Tahrir al-Sham in the town.

 

According to reports, the NLF has dispatched a large military convoy to Zardana and Tahrir al-Sham terrorists have erected a large number of checkpoints across the town.

 

Raqqa

 

Dozens of the Syrian Democratic Forces have defected the Washington-backed militia group in the past few days as attacks by unknown parties have increased against them in Raqqa.

 

Media activists in Raqqa reported on Thursday that the SDF's 'military police' has in the past two days detained at least 33 SDF militants who had left their posts in Raqqa city.

 

According to Fars News Agency, they added that a large number of SDF forces have defected recently.

 

Meantime, other reports said that an SDF militant was killed and a number of others were wounded after a grenade was thrown by unknown assailants at one of their checkpoints near the village of al-Sakir and Northern parts of Raqqa city.

 

Hasaka

 

The US military has sent another convoy of troops and equipment to its base in Northwestern Hasaka to reinforce its build-up in Northern Syria an Arab media report said Thursday.

 

The Arabic-language al-Manar news channel reported on Thursday that a new US coalition was sent to the regions occupied by the Washington-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Northwestern Hasaka.

 

It added that the convoy consisted of military weapons and equipment and other logistics and building stuffs which entered the US base in Tal Baidar region.

 

The US Forces have been setting up more military bases in Hasaka province amid tensions between civilians and the Kurds, the report said.
