Syria in Last 24 Hours:
Rasa - The Damascus Army dispatched more soldiers and equipment to the Eastern desert of Sweida over the past 24 hours to intensify attacks on ISIL's strongholds in the region.
Syrian Army
RNA - The Syrian Army continued dispatching fresh forces and military equipment to the Eastern desert of Sweida, deploying them to regions near Toloul al-Safa to accelerate hunting of the remaining pockets of ISIL terrorists.

 

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

 

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

 

Sweida

 

The Syrian Army forwarded more soldiers and equipment to the Eastern desert of Sweida on Sunday to intensify attacks on ISIL's strongholds in the region.

 

The Army continued dispatching fresh forces and military equipment to the Eastern desert of Sweida, deploying them to regions near Toloul al-Safa to accelerate hunting of the remaining pockets of ISIL terrorists.

 

In the meantime, a field source said that ISIL will possibly increase attacks on army positions to lift the government forces' siege on Toloul al-Safa.

 

The source further said that other units of the army, backed up by artillery units and the country's Air Force, engaged in heavy fighting with ISIL in Toloul al-Safa, imposing control over more areas.

 

On Saturday, the army forces engaged in a heavy fighting with ISIL in Toloul al-Safa in the Eastern desert of Sweida, imposing control over several points in the rocks.

 

In the meantime, the army's artillery units and aircraft pounded ISIL's positions and movements in the rocks in Toloul al-Safa, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

 

A field source, meantime, said that the army started fortifying the newly-captured positions in Toloul al-Safa.

 

Idlib

 

The Turkish Army sent tens of its elite forces to the Northwestern province of Idlib on Sunday few days after the endorsement of the Sochi agreement between Ankara and Moscow.

 

According to Fars News Agency, a battalion of the Turkish commandoes entered Idlib crossed Tonkli province border with Northwestern Syria and entered Idlib province.

 

The elite forces' dispatch to Idlib is allegedly aimed at reinvigoration of truce-monitoring points in the Northwestern province.

 

In the meantime, field sources in Northern Syria reported that a new convoy of the Turkish troops, including elite forces, personnel-carrier vehicles and canons have been dispatched to Rayhanli region in Hatay province near the border with Western Idlib.  

 

Raqqa

 

Nearly a hundred corpses of civilians killed in the US air raids and offensives of the Washington-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were found in Raqqa city on Sunday.

 

A sum of 96 bodies of civilians, killed in the US air attacks and the SDF's offensives on residential areas, were discovered by the members of Raqqa Civil Council Team from under debris of ruined buildings near the Old Grand Mosque in Raqqa city.

 

The SDF's artillery units had been carrying out blind shelling of residential areas in Raqqa city when it was under ISIL's rule, a field source said, adding that a large number of people were killed in the attacks and many more were injured who later died due to the acute lack of medicine and medical equipment.
