RNA – Speaking at a march on the day of Ashura in commemoration of the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam al-Husayn in the southern Lebanese city of Tyre, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Hashim Safiuddin, the chairman of the Executive Council of Hezbollah, emphasized the strategy of Hezbollah in the regional and international arenas and stressed, “Hezbollah will never and under no circumstances desist from its resistance.”
The Lebanese Shi’ah cleric added, “We will continue our path, which is resistance, even if we will offer many victims in this direction.”
He also said, “We will stand with all the oppressed and deprived people of the world, from Palestine to Syria to Bahrain and Yemen, and support them.”
Hujjat al-Islam Safiuddin continued, “Because we are with Imam al-Husayn, we will continue our support for Palestine, Syria Bahrain and Yemen.”
His Eminence added, “We will face the all the pressures exerted by the United States, the Zionists and the House of Saud with Husayni determination and Karbalai faith. These powers are the Umayyads of the current era and are standing against Iran, Syria and the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon.”
He also emphasized that Hezbollah will continue to defend Lebanon, its people and its territory, and will not allow anyone to violate its sovereignty, saying, “Along with their dreams and hatred, the tyrants will go to hell and the Islamic Resistance Axis will remain.”
Hujjat al-Islam Safiuddin also called for a new government in Lebanon to be formed as soon as possible, adding, “Our constant demand is for all to take responsibility for bringing the country out of the bottleneck by speeding up the formation of a national unity government that is absolutely in the interest of all of the people.”
The senior Hezbollah official stressed, “We have given our dear homeland Lebanon the most honourable of our martyrs, the most noblest of our wounded and the most precious of our prisoners and we will continue to protect the people, land and wealth and protect its unity against all external interventions that seek to block political life.”
In conclusion, Hujjat al-Islam Safiuddin also emphasized the necessity of taking the path of Imam al-Husayn and adhering to Imam al-Mahdi.
