Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.
Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.
Dara'a
The Syrian Army on Saturday discovered a large volume of Israeli arms and ammunition in clean-up operation in regions that were once under ISIL terrorists' occupation in Dara'a province.
The army engineering units found a large volume of cannons, RPG, rockets, arms and ammunition, including Israeli ones, in regions that were once under ISIL's control in Hawz Yarmouk in Western Dara'a.
In a relevant development earlier in September, the army men carried out mop-up operation in the village of al-Mo'alaqa and in the small town of Jabata al-Khashab in Quneitra, finding a large volume of weapons, munitions and medicines in regions that were once under control by ISIL and Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front).
Israel-made and American sniper rifles, machineguns, rockets, cannons, communication devices and medicines were found in the terrorists' positions.
Aleppo
The Syrian Army dispatched a long convoy of soldiers and military equipment to Aleppo province on Saturday to hunt the remaining pockets of the terrorists and counter their recent military movements.
The army forwarded a large number of forces and military hardware, including armored vehicles and heavy weapons, to contact lines with the terrorists in Northern and Northeastern Aleppo in the last few days.
A field source reported, meantime, that over five thousand army men and a huge amount of arms and ammunition have been deployed in a large region from al-Shahba dam to contact lines with terrorist-held Afrin, Um Hawsh, Tal Rifat, Habal, Ein Daqna, Minq and its airport, Deir Jamal, Nubl and al-Zahra and other regions in Northeastern Aleppo.
The source further said that deployment of more army forces and equipment is mainly aimed at countering possible attacks of the terrorists and also preparing for a large-scale cleansing operation to purge the region from the remaining pockets of the terrorists.
The source went on to say that fourteen civilians, including children and women, were killed or wounded in the terrorists' mortar attack on al-Lairamoun region North of Aleppo.
An opposition source said on Friday that terrorists shelled the Syrian city of Aleppo with projectiles.
“Several rockets exploded on the outskirts of the Nile Street. A child has died. A total of 13 people were injured,” the source said, the AMN reported.
Sweida
The Syrian Army units continued storming ISIL's positions in Sweida deserts on Saturday and managed to tighten noose on the remaining pockets of the terrorists trapped in Toloul al-Safa.
According to Fars News Agancy, the army forces engaged in fierce clashes with the ISIL North-West of Toloul al-Safa, advancing in Qa'a al-Banat region.
Other unit of the army clashed with ISIL West of Toloul al-Safa, imposing control over several positions near Qabr Sheikh Hossein.
In the meantime, the army's artillery and missile units and aircraft pounded ISIL's positions and movements in the depth of Toloul al-Safa, inflicting major losses on the militants.
Other soldiers of the army managed to push ISIL back from several heights, caves, ponds and hideouts in the rocks in Toloul al-Safa.
The army has tightened noose on the ISIL from all flanks in Toloul al-Safa after repelling all ISIL attacks staged to lift the siege and move towards al-Tanf in Southern Homs and Badiyeh (desert).
Homs-Deir Ezzur
The Syrian Army troops continued storming ISIL's strongholds in the Eastern deserts of Homs and Southwestern Deir Ezzur on Saturday, imposing full control over more areas of land.
The army forces engaged in heavy fighting with ISIL in the deserts of Syria from Southwestern Deir Ezzur to Eastern Homs, driving the terrorists out of vast regions, including several heights.
The army soldiers, backed up by the artillery units and the country's Air Force, stormed ISIL's positions and purged terrorists from a large region from the T2 Oil Pumping Station in Southwestern Deir Ezzur to al-Dhamir region in al-Sham deserts.
In the meantime, field sources said that the army is planning to push the remaining pockets of ISIL back from T3 Oil Pumping Station in Eastern Homs to al-Sukhnah and from the road to Kbajeb and al-Reshwaniyeh to Humeimeh region at the provincial border with Deir Ezzur.
The sources further said that the army intends to restore sustainable security to oilfields in order to resume production and also make safe Central Syria's roads to the Eastern part of the country.
