RNA - Israeli forces detained a Palestinian former prisoner and his son and stormed several homes in Jabaa village, southwest of Jenin city, WAFA reported.

They also detained a former prisoner after ransacking his family’s home in Zababdeh, a town to the southeast of Jenin.

Elsewhere in the northern West Bank, forces raided Qalqiliya city, detaining a Palestinian.

A similar raid was reported in Azzun town, east of Qalqiliya, where soldiers ransacked several homes. No detentions were reported though.

Meanwhile, Israeli troops detained a Palestinian after breaking into his home in Qubeiba, a town to the northwest of Jerusalem.

Another Palestinian was detained from Beit 'Ur al-Tahta, a village to the west of Ramallah.

In the southern West Bank, two Palestinians were detained during a similar predawn raid into Beit Fajjar, a town to the south of Bethlehem.

In Hebron, forces raided Halhoul town, north of Hebron city, detaining a Palestinian after thoroughly searching and ransacking his family’s home.

Two others were detained during a similar predawn raid into Beit Kahel, a town to the northwest of Hebron.

Israeli forces conduct overnight detention raids almost on a daily basis across the West Bank, triggering clashes with residents.

Clashes often erupt between Palestinian youth who attempt to block soldiers’ passage, throwing stones and empty bottles and are met with live fire, rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas canisters, often resulting in serious, sometimes fatal, injuries.
