Syria in Last 24 Hours:
Rasa - The Damascus Army captured more areas in Quneitra province under a peace agreement which includes surrender or retreat of the terrorists from occupied regions.

RNA - The government troops regained control of Talat al-Qaba and Krom al-Hamriyeh regions South of the town of Hazar and North of Jabat al-Khashab, hoisting the Syrian flags in them.

 

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over past 24 hours.

 

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

 

Quneitra

 

The Syrian army captured new regions in Quneitra province under a peace agreement which includes surrender or retreat of the terrorists from occupied areas.

 

The Syrian army forces retook control of Talat al-Qaba and Krom al-Hamriyeh regions South of the town of Hazar and North of Jabat al-Khashab, hoisting the Syrian flags in them.

 

Meantime, the engineering units of the Syrian army conducted demining operations in the region.

 

Also, the Russian defense ministry reported that over 4,200 militants have left Southwestern Syria for Idlib in line with the peace agreement in the region.

 

Damascus

 

Syrian military sources said that they shot down two Israeli reconnaissance drones West of Damascus.

 

The Syrian Army's air defense systems reportedly engaged multiple targets, possibly hostile warplanes or projectiles, Sputnik reported.

 

According to Syrian activist Wael al-Russi, three missiles and one Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, or drone, were downed by Syria's air defenses. Two of the missiles were apparently thwarted in South of the city and another in the Northwest. The drone was shot down West of the city, according to the activist. Syrian Journalist Kevork Almassian said his military sources confirmed an "enemy target" was intercepted to the West.

 

Syrian state media outlet SANA has confirmed the downing of an "enemy" target in Western Damascus. They outlet has apparently posted footage of the country's air defense systems at work.

 

Idlib

 

China will allegedly assist the Syrian Army in their upcoming battle in Southwestern Idlib, Chinese Ambassador to Syria Qi Qianjin said.

 

According to the Al-Watan, Qianjin told the Syrian daily that the Chinese military is prepared to ‘somehow’ take part in the upcoming Idlib offensive, especially because of the large presence of Uyghur fighters near Jisr Al-Shughour.

 

“The Chinese military has played an imperative role in protecting sovereignty, security and stability of China. At the same time, it (China) wants to take part in peacekeeping operations,” Qianjin told Al-Watan.

 

When asked about the current relationship between the Syrian and Chinese military forces, Qianjin replied, “There is ongoing cooperation between Syria and China in combating terrorism."

 

"We also know that the fight against terrorism and Syria’s fight against terrorism is not only for the benefit of the Syrian people, but also for the Chinese people and the people of the world,” he continued.

 

"There has been solid cooperation between our two armies in combating terrorism, including terrorists coming from China,” the ambassador added.

 

Currently, the Chinese military does not have any forces in Syria, but they do periodically send advisers to meet with Damascus.
