Rasa - The Damascus Army intensified attacks on the ISIL trapped in Hawz Yarmouk on Friday, taking control over more regions and inflicting major losses on the terrorists.
Syrian Army  Forces

RNA - The Syrian army exchanged heavy fire with the ISIL in Hawz Yarmouk, imposing control over the town of Jalin and al-Jomou'a strategic hill overlooking several towns and villages in the region.

 

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over past 24 hours.

 

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

 

Dara'a

 

The Syrian Army intensified attacks on ISIL trapped in Hawz Yarmouk on Friday, taking control over more regions and inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

 

The army men, backed up by the artillery units and army aircraft, exchanged heavy fire with ISIL in Hawz Yarmouk, imposing control over the town of Jalin and al-Jomou'a strategic hill overlooking several towns and villages in the region.

 

The army men further advanced in the depth of ISIL-held regions, seizing control over Tasil and Advan towns in Hawz Yamrmouk.

 

In the meantime, other units of the army conducted an assault South of Hawz Yarmouk and captured the town of Hayt.

 

Also, a military source pointed to the intensified operation of the army against ISIL at borders with Israeli-occupied Golan after a Syrian Sukhoi was shot down by Israelis and also terrorist's attacks on government forces in Sweida, underlining that the army men inflicted major casualties on the terrorists.

 

Aleppo

 

Turkey-backed militants engaged in fierce clashes with civilians in the town of Afrin in Northwestern Aleppo, leaving three Ankara-backed militants dead, a Kurdish-language media outlet reported on Friday.

 

According to Fars News Agancy,  Hawar news reported that members of Albu Banah tribe and militants of the Turkey-backed Ahrar al-Sham clashed fiercely in al-Ashrafiyeh neighborhood in Afrin, leaving at least three gunmen dead.

 

It further said that the clashes came after Ankara-backed militants seized a bulldozer of Ablu Banah tribe, adding that clashes are still underway between Ahrar and the tribal fighters.

 

Quneitra

 

The Syrian Army hoisted the country's flag over Quneitra border-crossing on Friday after taking control over several more regions in Northern Dara'a and Southern Quneitra.

 

The army men pulled the country's flag up in Quneitra border-crossing after years of occupation by the Al-Nusra front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at or the Levant Liberation Board).

 

The Al-Nusra terrorists had set fire at the border-crossing before withdrawal towards Idlib under a reconciliation plan.

 

Other units of the army managed to impose control over the villages of Sheikh Hossein, Kokab, al-Shabraq, Masireteh, al-Lawihaq and Salbak after heavy fighting with terrorists in Southeastern Quneitra and Northwestern Dara'a.

 

Terrorists suffered heavy casualties and their military equipment sustained major damage in the clashes.
