Syrian Army forces

RNA - "The army has dispatched a large number of fresh forces and a large volume of military equipment to Northeastern Lattakia and to Jisr al-Shughour region in Southwestern Idlib," a well-informed source said.

 

The source further said that the army is possibly mulling to launch a fresh large-scale operation in Idlib after completing Southern Syria operation, adding that the army will probably kick off its operation from several flanks to liberate al-Ghaab Plain and Jisr al-Shughour to restore sustainable security to Northeastern Lattakia.

 

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over past 24 hours.

 

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

 

Idlib-Lattakia

The sources said that the army has dispatched a large number of fresh forces and a large volume of military equipment to Northeastern Lattakia and to Jisr al-Shughour region in Southwestern Idlib.

 

The sources further said that the army is possibly mulling to launch a fresh large-scale operation in Idlib after completing Southern Syria operation, adding that the army will probably kick off its operation from several flanks to liberate al-Ghaab Plain and Jisr al-Shughour to restore sustainable security to Northeastern Lattakia.

 

The army men's control over Northern Lattakia, including Jabal al-Akrad and Jabal al-Turkmen will also restore security to borders with Turkey, the sources opined.

 

They went on to say that a large number of the army's elite forces and advanced weapons will be forwarded to Idlib after completing Dara'a operation, adding that Idlib operation will be a hard battle for the government forces due to the presence of a large number of foreign terrorists in Northwestern Syria.

 

The terrorist groups have recently kicked off several attacks on the army positions in Northern Lattakia.

 

Hasaka

 

The Turkish Army dispatched a long convoy of military vehicles to Turkey's border with the Syrian regions controlled by the US-backed militias in the Northeastern province of Hasaka on Tuesday.

 

The army sent a long convoy of military vehicles to regions near the town of Ra'as al-Ein in Northern Hasaka.

 

There are a large number of fresh forces, tanks and military vehicles in the Turkish convoy that have been deployed at the borderline from Ra'as al-Ein up to Tal Abyadh in Northern Raqqa, local sources said.

 

Golan Heights

 

The Syrian Army units captured more points in the border area between the Southwestern province of Quneitra and Israeli-occupied Golan Heights on Tuesday after militants withdrew from the region under a reconciliation deal.

 

The army men entered the small border towns of al-Batiha and al-Rafid near the occupied Golan.

 

Other army units captured the small town of Qadir al-Bustran at Quneitra's border with Dara'a province that was under ISIL's occupation.

 

In the meantime, the army men found a field hospital of the terrorists in the town of Naba'a al-Sakhar in Southeastern Quneitra with a large volume of medicines and medical equipment, including Israeli and Jordanian medicines.

 

Dara'a

 

The Syrian Army units continued storming the strongholds of the ISIL and other terrorist groups in Dara'a and Quneitra provinces on Tuesday, imposing full control over a sum of nineteen villages and small towns.

 

The army forces engage in heavy fighting with the remaining pockets of the terrorists in Dara'a and Quneitra and captured the villages and towns of al-Mahir, Rasm al-Hassan, Heiran Shamali, Heiran Janoubi, Rasm al-Ezra'eil, Rasm al-Bonyan, Rasm Ra'aroureh, Abu Qali'eh, Abu Tineh, al-Ma'alaqeh, al-Jabileh, al-Modawareh and Abu al-Khashan.

 

Other units of the army managed to free al-Bakar, al-Bakar Sharqi, Um al-Lowqas, al-Mahyoubeh and al-Mashideh.

 

According to Fars News Agancy, terrorists suffered heavy casualties in the attacks and their remaining pockets were forced to pull back from the battlefield to other regions.

 

Earlier reports said that the army forces engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL in Tal al-Jamou'a, Libi Company and Qadir al-Bustan in Hawz Yarmouk in Southwestern Dara'a.

 

In the meantime, the army's artillery units and aircraft pounded ISIL's positions and movements in Tal al-Jomou'a region, the small town of Taslin and Jalin region in Hawz Yarmouk at the border with the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

 

Field sources reported that a number of ISIL's supply lines in the depth of Hawz Yarmouk were cut off in the Syrian Armed forces' operations in the last days, adding that almost sixty ISIL terrorists were killed and several more were wounded in the attacks.
