Rasa - An analyst says Israel’s attacks against Syria are part of its ongoing Iranophobia campaign aimed at rallying its own people behind its aggressive policies as well as getting more arms and money from the United States.
RNA - “They (Israelis) have an ongoing propaganda war against Iran, trying to implicate Iran as being directly a threat to them,” Syed Mohsin Abbas, journalist and political commentator, said on Monday.
“They get more arms and funds as a result of this from the US as well,” he added.
According to Press TV, the Tel Aviv regime also seeks to “dramatize” the developments surrounding its assaults against Syria, where Iran is helping Damascus fight terrorism, in an attempt to scare its own people and have them support its “policies of aggression.”
Abbas said, “This isn’t about Syrian air bases alone; this is much more about Israel’s fear of Iran.”
