RNA - "The US warmongering policies and blatant support for the terrorist groups and violation of the UN-approved international undertakings, including the (2015) nuclear deal, have led to instability and continued crisis in the region," Boroujerdi said in a meeting with a parliamentary delegation from Georgia in Tehran on Saturday.
He, meantime, underscored that fighting terrorism is one of the principled policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
"Development needs establishment of sustainable security and fighting (terrorism) by all the world states," Boroujderi said.
He also voiced regret over the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, and said, "Massacre of innocent children, women and civilians in Yemen is the result of the US direct support for Saudi Arabia and interference in Yemen's internal affairs."
According to Fars News Agancy, in relevant remarks last June, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mostafa Izadi announced that the country was in possession of evidence and documents proving Washington's direct support for the ISIL terrorist group.
"We are facing a proxy warfare in the region as a new trick by the arrogant powers against the Islamic Republic," Izadi said.
"As the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei) said, we possess documents and information showing the direct supports by the US imperialism for this highly disgusting stream (the ISIL) in the region which has destroyed the Islamic countries and created a wave of massacres and clashes," he added.
