RNA - A large number of the Syrian Army Elite Forces arrived in the Southern province of Dara'a on Monday to take part in a major attack against terrorists in the South.

 

Dara'a

 

The army's Tiger Forces, equipped with modern weapons, arrived in Dara'a province to reinvigorate the army's combat capabilities in the region.

 

In the meantime, local sources said that talks with the terrorists to persuade them to surrender have failed, adding that the government forces are waiting for the final order to launch their operation in the Southern part of the country after the arrival of the Tiger Forces.

 

A number of peace committees in Dara'a province were killed by the terrorists who rejected the army's reconciliation plan.

 

Also, Commander of Alawiyat al-Forqan terrorist group Mohammad Majed al-Khatib pointed to the failure of peace talks in Southern Syria, adding that the army will soon launch a major operation in the region.

 

Fields sources, meantime, reported that the army's artillery and missile units opened heavy fire at terrorists' positions in the town of al-Harra in Northern Dara'a and its outskirts and in the settlements of Um Batinah and Mosahara in the Central part of Quneitra province, inflicting major losses on the militants.  

 

Lattakia

 

A Russian naval fleet, carrying Kalibr missiles, has headed to the Syrian port city of Tartus in the Eastern waters of the Mediterranean Sea, Arab media reports said on Monday.

 

The Arabic-language website of Sputnik reported that the Russian Caspian Sea Flotilla, including Veliki Ustyug 651 (x-023) and Grad Sviyazhsk 652 (c-021) carrying SS-N-30/Kalibr 3M-14 and ground to ground missiles has gone through the Bosphorous Strait and entered the Mediterranean Sea.

 

Sputnik further quoted Turkish websites as reporting that Russia's 21631 Project of Flotilla Buyan M Class is on its course to Syria's Tartus port city.   

 

Yoruk Isik of the Bosphorous Observer reported on Saturday that a Russian BSF Tapir (NATO:Alligator) class LST Nikolai Filchenkov 152 was seen traveling through the Bosphorous Strait en route to Tartus.

 

During the trip, the Russian ship briefly encountered the Turkish Coast Guard near the Bosphorous Strait before continuing its route to Tartus.

 

This latest shipment marked the fourth time this year that this ship delivered military supplies to the Port of Tartus.

 

Homs

 

The Syrian Armed Forces targeted a long convoy of ISIL's vehicles in a desert-like region between Western Deir Ezzur and Eastern Homs, damaging a number of vehicles and killing or wounding a number of terrorists on Monday.

 

The army men engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL in a region between T2 Pumping Station in Southwestern Deir Ezzur and T3 Station in Eastern Homs, killing or wounding a number of terrorists.

 

In the meantime, the army's artillery and missile units and aircraft pounded ISIL's positions and movements in Eastern Homs' desert.

 

Also, a field source reported that several vehicles were destroyed and a number of terrorists were killed in Syrian air raid on ISIL's convoy near T2 Station.

 

Meanwhile, the army's engineering units discovered a field hospital with several operation rooms, medical devices and medicines in a mop-up operation in the town of Taldou in Northern Homs.

 

The army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL near Humeimeh and T2 Oil Pumping Station last week, killing and wounding a number of terrorists.

 

In the meantime, the army aircraft pounded ISIL's positions and movements in a region between Homs and Deir Ezzur provinces, destroying several positions and military vehicles and killing or wounding a large number of terrorists.

 

Deir Ezzur

 

The Syrian Army troops stormed ISIL's positions in Badiyeh (desert) of Deir Ezzur and managed to inflict heavy defeats on the terrorists, taking control over several points on Sunday.

 

The army men engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL in a region between T2 and T3 Oil Pumping Stations in Southwestern Deir Ezzur and seized control over several points, including Mount Kebt, Ba'ar al-Warak, Ba'ar al-Atshan and Tal Shadid.

 

ISIL suffered tens of casualties and its military equipment sustained major damage in the army attacks.

 

The army men reinvigorated security of their positions and forced the terrorists to retreat.

 

Raqqa

 

A number of US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were killed after a bomb, planted by unknown parties, went off in their vehicle in Raqqa city on Monday.

 

A bomb, planted by unknown assailants in the vehicle of the SDF Military Police, went off in Tal Abyadh street in Raqqa city, killing at least five SDF militias.

 

The SDF kept has forces on alert following the blast.

 

A fresh wave of attacks by unidentified parties has covered Northeastern Syria following intensified tensions between the SDF and civilians in the provinces of Hasaka, Raqqa and Deir Ezzur.

 

In the meantime, fresh clashes between the SDF and civilians have been reported in Qawiran neighborhood in Hasaka city, where a number of civilians were arrested.

 

Idlib

 

Abu Ismayeel, Deputy Chief Commander of Jeish al-Ahrar, was assassinated by unidentified gun men in Idlib province on Monday.

 

Unknown assailants opened fire at Abu Ismayeel, the deputy commander of Jeish al-Ahrar, killing him in the village of Jobas Southwest of the town of Saraqib.

 

In the meantime, three terrorists were killed and six more were wounded after a bomb, planted by unknown parties in a vehicle of Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) militants, went off in the small town of Darkoush in Northern Idlib.

 

Local sources, meantime, reported that unknown armed men stormed al-Dana hospital in the town of al-Dana in Northern Idlib and kidnapped several media staff. 

 

Hasaka

 

The ISIL terrorist group handed over a main base in Southern Hasaka to the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on Monday.

 

The Arabic-language al-Watan quoted well-informed sources as saying that the ISIL has handed over one of its most important bases in the small town of al-Dashisha in Southern Hasaka to the SDF as they did the same during their withdrawal in Raqqa.

 

The SDF claimed on Sunday that they carried out the second phase of their offensive in Deir Ezzur province and captured the small town of al-Dashisha.

 

The SDF further claimed that they entered al-Nasereh settlement 2km East of al-Dashisha and 3km away from the border with Iraq.

 

The SDF had previously claimed that they took control over the villages of al-Hamidiyeh, Sefyan, al-Mazar, al-Khabireh, al-Hejleh, Shamas, Hossein al-Hejleh, al-Hasou, al-Oudat, Kalib, Majan and Um Mahour.

 

Aleppo

 

A number of gunmen were killed or wounded in a fresh wave of tensions and infighting between two Ankara-backed militant groups in the town of Afrin in Northwestern Aleppo, local sources reported on Monday.

 

The sources said that the al-Shamiyeh Front engaged in fierce clashes with the militants of the Free Police, both affiliated to the Turkish army, in a Park in Afrin.

 

The sources said that the clashes left two al-Shamiyeh gunmen dead as well as a number of casualties among civilians

 

A wave of panic has covered residential areas in the town following the infighting, the sources added.

 

Also on Monday, the US and Turkish forces started joint patrolling missions in the outskirts of Manbij in Eastern Aleppo.

 

Turkey's Daily Sabah newspaper reported that a convoy of Turkish forces, supported by the US helicopters, has entered Manbij in Northern Syria.

 

Meantime, Sky News also confirmed the start of joint patrolling operations.

 

Also, field sources said that the American forces have been missioned with patrolling the Southern parts of al-Sajour region which is under the control of the Manbij military council and close to the areas controlled by the Ankara-backed militants, adding that the Turkish forces have started patrolling mission in Northern Sajour which has been occupied by Operation Euphrates Shield militants.

 

Sweida

 

According to Fars News Agancy, the Syrian Army troops managed to drive ISIL out of more key points in Badiyeh (desert) on Monday amid dispatch of more troops and military equipment to the Northeastern part of the province.

 

The army forwarded a large number of forces and equipment to Tal Asfar and al-Oureh flanks in Badiyeh of Sweida.

 

In the meantime, the army stormed ISIL's positions in Badiyeh of Sweida and captured several points in Tal Ar Ar.

 

Also, the army's artillery units pounded ISIL's strongholds in al-Kara'a, al-Hasa and al-Safa in Badiyeh of Sweida, killing or wounding a number of terrorists and destroying their military hardware.
