Rasa - A number of civilians were killed and wounded again in the US-led coalition's airstrikes in Deir Ezzur, Eastern Syria.

RNA - Field sources in Eastern Deir Ezzur reported on Saturday that the US fighter jets pounded the residential areas in the town of al-Souseh on Friday, killing at least 3 civilians and wounding a number of others.

 

They added that a number of the wounded people are in critical conditions, adding that the attacks have also inflicted huge damage on civilian properties.

 

In a relevant development on Wednesday, a number of civilians were killed in the US-led coalition airstrikes on Southeastern Deir Ezzur.

 

The Arabic-language al-Manar news website reported on Thursday that the coalition's Wednesday attacks on the town of Baqouz Foqani in Southeastern Deir Ezzur have left 4 civilians dead, including 3 children.

 

Meantime, other reports said that several other civilians were also killed in the US attacks against the village of Tal al-Jayer in Southern Hasaka.

 

Also on Wednesday, more civilians were killed and wounded in the US-led coalition air raid in Southeastern Hasaka.

 

The US fighter jets bombed heavily the village of al-Hardan, killing four civilians and wounding another one.

 

In the meantime, local sources reported that the US-backed Syrian Democratic Force opened artillery fire at the small towns of al-Souseh and al-Baqouz in Southeastern Deir Ezzur, injuring several civilians.

 

Syria's state news agency, SANA, quoted local sources as reporting on Tuesday that the US fighter jets pounded a school in the village of Khoweiberah Southeast of al-Shadadi region on Monday, killing 18 Iraqi refugees.

 

SANA further said that most of the victims were children and women.
