RNA - “Talk about ideas and proposals that will soon be presented for discussion on the plan and the timing for publishing the so-called 'deal of the century’ will not lead to a successful political process as long as they exclude Jerusalem and the refugees,” he said in a statement, WAFA reported.

"If the United States continues to change the rules of the relationship with the Palestinian leadership and our Palestinian people, the political deadlock and paralysis will continue," Abu Rudeineh added.

He stressed that “any futile efforts or contacts with any party aiming to undermine the sacred national constants will lead to further destabilization of an already fragile situation and in the whole region”.

“The entire region is going through a sharp turn that will affect the national balance and take it into unknown directions. Any attempt to search for feeble peace projects or search for a mini-state in Gaza to end the dream of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital will only increase the resolve of the Palestinian people and their national leadership to hold on to the land, rights and holy places,” he stated.

The official Spokesman stressed that “the road to achieving a just and lasting peace passes through the Arab and international legitimacy and the Palestinian national decision, which adheres to Jerusalem and the national constants, and any attempts or ideas to circumvent these basics will be still born”.

He concluded by saying that “Jerusalem and Palestinian agreement are the title of the current phase and the correct way to achieve the desired peace with an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem and its holy places as its capital”.
