RNA - Ayham Adawi, 14, from Arroub refugee camp near the Southern West Bank city of Hebron and who is currently held in Ofer prison near Ramallah, complained to the commission’s attorneys of beating on his head and slaps to the face, curses and threats of arrest of his parents if he did not confess to the charges levied against him during his interrogation at Etzion detention center near Bethlehem, WAFA reported.
Another Palestinian told the attorneys that he was severely beaten when he was detained from his home at four in the morning.
Ihab Kabajeh, 18, from Jerusalem, said he was detained from his home and was severely beaten all over his body before he was taken to the Russian Compound police station in West Jerusalem, where he was interrogated, cursed and insulted and threatened with the arrest of his parents to get him to confess to the charges the police claimed he was guilty of.
Kabajeh was held at the Russian Compound station for 14 days before he was transferred to Majiddo prison in Northern Israel.
Ali Zeidan, 19, from Deir Istiya in the Salfit district in the North of the West Bank, said he was also brutally beaten after soldiers had raided his family home at night and was violently thrown into a military jeep which took him to Majiddo prison.
