RNA - The Hamas leader made his remarks in al-Shati refugee camp during his participation in the funeral of martyr Yousef al-Fasih, who was killed among others last Friday by Israeli soldiers on the Gaza border, Palinfo reported.
Haniyeh described the March of Return rallies as “a triumph for an entire generation standing up in the face of Israeli weapons with no fear and hesitation”.
“Today, we are seeing harbingers of victory, God willing. Gaza siege and the deal of the century are faltering thanks to our people’s sacrifices in the Marches of Return,” he said.
A total of 135 Palestinians were killed by the Israeli Army in the West Bank and Gaza Strip since the start of the March of Return rallies on March 30, according to the latest statistics by the Ministry of Health.
