Syria in Last 24 Hours:
Rasa - ISIL's heavy offensives were warded off by the Syrian Army troops in several flanks in Eastern Deir Ezzur, and the terrorists sustained major losses on Saturday.
Syrian Army Forces

RNA - The government troops engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL in several flanks in al-Mayadeen desert in Eastern Deir Ezzur.

 

Also, the army's artillery and missile units pounded terrorists' movements in Eastern Deir Ezzur.

 

The army soldiers managed to fend off ISIL attacks after killing and wounding a number of terrorists and destroying their equipment.

 

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

 

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

 

Deir Ezzur

 

The Syrian Army troops repelled ISIL's heavy offensives in several flanks in Eastern Deir Ezzur, inflicting major losses on the terrorists on Saturday.

 

The army men engaged in fierce clashes with the ISIL in several flanks in al-Mayadeen desert in Eastern Deir Ezzur.

 

Also, the army's artillery and missile units pounded terrorists' movements in Eastern Deir Ezzur.

 

The army soldiers managed to fend off ISIL attacks after killing and wounding a number of terrorists and destroying their equipment.

 

In the meantime, the army dispatched fresh forces and equipment to Badiyeh (desert) al-Sham in Eastern Deir Ezzur to launch mop-up operations in the region.

 

In a similar development earlier, the army forwarded more forces and military equipment, including several cannons, to its positions in Eastern Damascus, to launch a fresh round of large-scale attacks on ISIL that stormed the government forces' position in al-Mayadeen desert recently.

 

In the meantime, the army forces engaged in a tough battle with ISIL in Eastern Badiyeh (desert) between Western Deir Ezzur and Eastern Homs, killing or wounding a number of terrorists.

 

Also, the army aircraft pounded several times ISIL's positions South of Humeimeh region, imposing heavy casualties on the militants.  

 

Idlib                                                 

 

A Mufti (religious leader) and a notorious commander of Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) were assassinated by unknown assailants in Eastern and Southern Idlib on Saturday.

 

Abu Islam, a Mufti of Tahrir al-Sham, was killed in gun fire by a group of unknown assailants in al-Khowein settlement Southeastern Idlib.

 

In the meantime, Khalid al-Adnani, a senior commander of Tahrir al-Sham, was killed after a group of unknown assailants opened fire at him near the town of Ma'arat al-Nu'aman.

 

Also, a bomb-laden vehicle went off near the train station in al-Rouj Plain in Western Idlib, killing a number of terrorists.

 

Tahrir al-Sham, meantime, executed two people in the town of al-Dana accusing them of orchestrating recent blasts in region.

 

Aleppo

 

Tens of people in the town of Jarabulus in Northern Aleppo poured into the streets and called on the Turkish occupying forces and their militant allies to leave their region.

 

Over 500 civilians in Jarabulus embarked on demonstrating against the Turkish troops and their militant allies after Friday Prayers and called for expulsion of gunmen of the Ankara-led Euphrates Shield from their region.

 

According to Fars News Agancy, a number of protestors hoisted the Syrian government's flag in the town and called for reestablishment of Syria's legal institution.

 

In some areas the protestors embarked on closing off roads and main streets in the region.

 

The demonstration came after seven civilians were killed and wounded in a fresh infighting between Ahrar al-Sham terrorists and Liwa al-Shomal affiliated to the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA).

 

Popular uprising against Ankara forces were previously reported in the towns of al-Bab and al-Ra'ei in Northeastern Aleppo.
