Rasa - Israeli fighter jets on Saturday evening carried out airstrikes on an agricultural land in the town of Beit Hanoun, in Northern Gaza Strip, causing financial damage to the site and to neighboring homes, according to local sources.
RNA - Israeli warplanes bombed with about seven missiles the targeted area, leaving financial damage and causing fire to erupt in the area. The air raids did not result in any casualties, however, but caused fear among local citizens, WAFA reported.
An army statement claimed that the aircraft targeted a tunnel that had been dug in the buffer zone close to Israel. The Israeli army claimed that the tunnel belonged to the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas.
Israeli aircraft bombarded the besieged Gaza Strip ahead of expected protests by Palestinians against the United States moving its embassy to Jerusalem al-Quds.
