RNA - The Syrian army forces inflicted heavy losses on the ISIL terrorists in Friday's offensive.

The ISIL found themselves on the run at several flanks in both Hajar al-Aswad and Yarmouk Camp following a heavy joint offensive of the Syrian Army and their Palestinian allies.

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

Damascus

The Syrian Army troops and their Palestinian popular allies stormed ISIL's positions in Yarmouk Camp and Hajar al-Aswad region in the Southern part of Damascus province, inflicting major losses on the terrorists on Friday.

The ISIL found themselves on the run at several flanks in both Hajar al-Aswad and Yarmouk Camp following a heavy joint offensive of the Syrian Army and their Palestinian allies.

According to a military source in Damascus, the Syrian Army and their Palestinian allies are currently advancing at the Southeastern and Western directions of Hajar al-Aswad, along with the Western flank of the Yarmouk Camp.

In a similar development on Thursday, the army forces continued clashes with the ISIL militants in Southern Hajar al-Aswad, retaking control of the region's cemetery and advancing towards the region's stadium.

They also could advance from their positions in Monif al-Ma'adi Grand Mosque in Eastern Hajar al-Aswad towards Mesqal Hassan Barkah region.

Meantime, other army units advanced in Western Hajar al-Aswad, winning back control of Bilal Habashi Grand Mosque.

The army troops could isolate the terrorists in Yarmouk camp and Hajar al-Aswad after advancing in two fronts and meeting each other in Hajar al-Aswad's square in the North.

Idlib

The Russian Air Force conducted heavy airstrikes on terrorists' positions in Western Idlib near the border with Turkey, inflicting major losses on the militants, field sources reported on Friday.

The sources said that the Russian jets reportedly bombed the militant-held towns in Jisr Al-Shughour region in Western Idlib near the border with Turkey and nearby al-Ghaab Plain, which is partially under the control of militant groups.

According to a military source in nearby Lattakia, the warplanes have been heavily targeting areas under the control of Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) and the Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP) in the provinces of Idlib and Hama.

The Arabic-language al-Masdar news agency quoted local sources in Tartous region as saying on Thursday that Su-25SM3 fighter jets recently landed at Humeimim airbase in Southwestern Lattakia.

The new fighter jets were capable of conducting operations at night in all weather conditions.

The Russian air force deployed new Sukhoi 25 fighter jet in its airbase in Syria after a similar aircraft was shut down by the al-Nusra Front (also known as Fatah al-Sham Front or the Levant Liberation Board) terrorists in Idlib by anti-aircraft missiles in February.

Dara'a

The ISIL stormed the positions of a rival terrorist group affiliated to the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in the Southern province of Dara'a on Friday.

The ISIL's attack – as described by local activists – targeted FSA-affiliated rebels in Hayt town where heavy firefight broke up as ISIL attempted to score an advance.

Meanwhile, the West-backed FSA militiamen bombed – with artillery and MLRs – the towns of Jaleen and Sahm al-Golan; two ISIL heartlands and the launch-pad of the recent assault.
