Rasa - An analyst believes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent anti-Iran accusation was “a desperate publicity stunt” in order to give US President Donald Trump a justification for scraping the nuclear deal.

RNA - “It happens at a time when the Europeans have clearly rebuffed Trump’s pressure to renegotiate the Iran nuclear deal … and therefore Trump finds himself rather isolated. There is a great a deal of legitimacy problems for his attempt to scuttle the deal unilaterally. So here comes Netanyahu, manna from heaven, with his claim of having open access to all of Iran’s top nuclear secrets … and fortunately the bulk of the international community has not bought into this fake news,” Kaveh Afrasiabi told on Wednesday.

Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a televised address on Monday, accusing Iran of violating the multilateral nuclear agreement, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), signed between Iran and the P5+1 group of countries in 2015.

Standing in front of a big screen and using large visual aids, the prime minister claimed that “Iran is brazenly lying” about its nuclear activities, presenting 55,000 pages of documents and 55,000 files on CDs as alleged evidence.
