Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.
Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.
Hama
Four large command posts of the terrorist groups in Southern Hama came under heavy air raids by the Syrian Air Force on Monday and were leveled to the ground.

Field sources reported that the army troops managed to advance against militants in Madajen Jabar, al-Alamah and Madajen Abu Sa'er West of al-Salamiyah in Southwestern Hama.
Earlier on Monday, the army and Air Force started targeting terrorists' positions and movements in Northern Homs and Southern Hama after reconciliation talks failed due to the militants' tumbling.
The terrorists, deployed in Jabal (Mount) al-Kan in Northern Homs, opened mortar fire at the villages of Qabibat and Qor al-Asi after the reconciliation talks failed.
The army then started reciprocating attacks. The army aircraft later pounded terrorist groups' movements and positions in al-Za'afaraneh, Deir Foul, Ezzeddeen, Talbiseh, al-Rastan, Ein Hossein, al-Ameriyeh and al-Qantarat regions in Northern Homs.
Also, the army's artillery and missile units opened heavy fire at terrorists' strongholds and movements in Northern Homs, al-Satahiyat farms West of the town of al-Salamiyah, near Hirbnafsa and al-Houleh regions in Southern Hama.
Over 20 terrorists were killed and several more were wounded and their military equipment were destroyed in the attacks.
Deir Ezzur
The Iraqi Air Force pounded a gathering of a group of ISIL terrorists in Eastern Syria, killing a number of terrorists on Monday, including Abu Luqman al-Souri, the ISIL second-in-command.
The Iraqi fighter jets launched an air strike targeting a group of ISIL, who were gathering at a building inside the Syrian territories, managing to kill a notorious ISIL leader, identified as Abu Luqman al-Souri.
Al-Souri is believed to be deputy of ISIL ring Leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Al-Souri was reportedly “in charge of recruiting suicide attackers and dispatching them to Iraq to carry out terrorist attacks there.”
In case of official confirmation, al-Souri would be the highest ranking member of ISIL to killed so far.
Homs

The army men inflicted major losses on the ISIL in their attacks in Qata'a al-Shohada, Share'a Yarmouk Rijeh and Share'a al-Thalthin West of Yarmouk Refuge Camp.
In the meantime, the army's artillery and missile units and aircraft pounded the movements, command and control posts and positions of the ISIL in Hajar al-Aswad region, Yarmouk camp and parts of the regions of al-Qadam and al-Tazamon, destroying several positions and killing or wounding a large number of the terrorists.
Meantime, Shadi Marwan al-Sa'ad, a senior commander of the Al-Nusra front (also known as Fatah al-Sham Front or the Levant Liberation Board), was killed in the Syrian Army operation in Yarmouk Refugee Camp on Monday.
According to Fars News Agancy, the key Al-Nusra field commander, was killed in clashes with the army men in Sahat al-Rijeh flank in Yarmouk Refugee Camp in the Southern part of Damascus province.
In the meantime, the army soldiers managed to seize control over three buildings in Zalikheh area in al-Tazamon region after beating back the ISIL terrorists from their positions.
Also, the army's artillery and missile units and aircraft have been pounding ISIL's positions in Yarmouk Camp and Hajar al-Aswad.
Several tunnels and trenches of the terrorists have also been destroyed in the air raids in a region between al-Tazamon and Yalda regions.
