RNA – Brigadier-General Amir Hatami, Iran’s Minister of Defence, met and held discussions with Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis at the headquarters of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces.
In this meeting, Brigadier-General Hatami expressed his satisfaction with meeting the commander of the Popular Mobilization Forces and praised the sincere efforts he exerted to establish stability and security in Iraq and said, “I am grateful to you for having suffered so much hardship and suffering in order to bring stability and security to Iraq and thanks to all of your sincere efforts, I appreciate the bright faces and the love of the martyrs.”
He added, “I thank God that part of the Vali Asr Brigades of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was able take form proudly in Iraq.”
Brigadier-General Hatami argued that the enemies, who were the puppets of the arrogant powers of the world and were instrumental in carrying out their evil intentions, permitted great oppression against the people of Iraq, Syria and the region through their complete ignorance to the Islamic ummah and said, “With their innumerable acts of injustice and crimes, the arrogant powers of the world provided self-serving services to the enemies of Islam.”
In this meeting, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis praised the consistent and unrivaled support of Iran’s Ministry of Defence and the support of the armed forces for the activities of the Islamic
Resistance Axis.
The commander of the Popular Mobilization Forces described the recent victories of the Islamic Resistance in the defeat of Daesh by providing a report on the process of forming and organizing the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq.
Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis considered the role of the wise leadership of the Supreme Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the sources of emulation and Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali al-Sistani in the unity of the Popular Mobilization Forces and expressed his hope that in the near future, stability and security will return to Iraq through the sincere cooperation of the Iraqi government and the Iraqi people.
