Rasa - The Syrian Army troops warded off the terrorists' heavy attack on Hamouriyeh to recapture the lost positions in Eastern Ghouta.

RNA - The sources said that the terrorists deployed in Arbin and Saqba regions stormed the army to recapture Hamouriyeh, but failed to break through the army positions.

 

They added that the terrorists retreated after sustaining a large number of casualties and losing their military equipment.

 

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over past 24 hours.

 

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

 

Damascus

 

The Syrian Army troops repelled the terrorists' heavy attack on Hamouriyeh to recapture the lost positions in Eastern Ghouta, field sources said.

 

The sources said that the terrorists deployed in Arbin and Saqba regions stormed the army to recapture Hamouriyeh, but failed to break through the army positions.

 

They added that the terrorists retreated after sustaining a large number of casualties and losing their military equipment.

 

In return, the Syrian army soldiers launched a counter-offensive in Eastern Ghouta and captured an important region along with several farms.

 

In a relevant development the army units engaged in clashes with the terrorists North of Eastern Ghouta on Wednesday night, retaking control of the key region of Hawsh al-Mobarakah, overlooking the town of al-Rayhan.

 

Meantime, the Syrian army forces seized control of several farms in the East and South of the town of al-Rayhan near al-Rayhan mosque.

 

Reports also said that the terrorists' defense lines have completely collapsed as the army arrived at the gates of the town of al-Rayhan.

 

Hama

 

The Syrian Army troops exchanged heavy fire with the terrorists in Northeastern Hama and imposed control over three key villages, field sources reported on Friday.

 

The sources said that the army seized control over the villages of Beizoun, Safaf Abu al-Khayr and Ma'arsan after heavy fighting with terrorists in Northeastern Hama.

 

In the meantime, the terrorist groups lost control over Karnaz settlement after fierce clashes with the army men, the sources said, adding that the terrorists are readying to launch fresh attacks on the army to take back lost lands. 

 

Field sources said earlier that the terrorists sustained heavy defeat in failed attacks against the Syrian army in Northern Hama, losing two of their military commanders.

 

The sources reported that the army forces killed tens of terrorists and seized their weapons and military equipment during continued clashes with the terrorists near the two towns of Kernaz and al-Hamamiyat in Northwestern Hama.

 

They confirmed the terrorists' heavy defeat in attacks against the army positions, noting that the army units won back control of several points in Kernaz that they had lost earlier.

 

Also reports said that during the clashes, Abu Asriyeh, the commander of al-Khatab Brigade, and Hatam Mohammed al-Ra'adoun, the commander of Jeish al-Nasr terrorist group, were killed in Kernaz.

 

Hasaka

 

The Kurdish militants still continue forced recruitment in different areas in Hasaka city, local sources said on Friday.

 

The sources in Hasaka city reported that the Kurdish fighters detained a number of civilians in al-Nashwah neighborhood within the format of the forced-recruitment plan.

 

According to Fars News Agancy, in a relevant development last month the Kurdish fighters detained a number of young people in the town of al-Shadadi in Southern Hasaka to force them to join the militia.

 

They further said that at least seven civilians were arrested by the Kurds in Hasaka city to join forcefully to the group.

 

Raqqa

 

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are setting ISIL militants free from jails in Raqqa city without presenting any explanation and despite the public's strong opposition, local sources in Northeastern Syria disclosed on Friday.

 

The sources said that a sum of 12 ISIL militants have been recently released by the SDF from jails in Raqqa city, adding that the Kurds have also intensified security measures against civilians in the city.

 

The sources further said that fuel prices have significantly increased in Raqqa after the Kurdish militias banned sales of fuel supplies in the city.

 

They also reported growing popular uprising against US-backed SDF in Raqqa.
