RNA - The Syrian troops liberated several more territories occupied by terrorists in Eastern Ghouta during the operations.
The army soldiers managed to take control over more strategic points in the depth of Eastern Ghouta at the end of a one-day truce in the region.
Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over past 24 hours.
Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.
Damascus
The Syrian Army troops are preparing to conduct an imminent attack on terrorists to drive them out of Harasta region as they have took control over almost 60 percent of Eastern Ghouta.
Field sources said that the army units, backed up by artillery and missile units, engaged in fierce clashes with the terrorists in Harasta region after the daily ceasefire ended in the region.
The sources said that the terrorist front is on the verge of collapse after the army's recent advances.
They added that the army has laid siege on the terrorists in Harasta region after the pro-government forces, deployed in Kilani Petrol Station, met their comrades at Douma-Harasta highway near the Vehicles Management Center.
In the meantime, the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the army has gained control over 59 percent of Eastern Ghouta in 13 days of operation against the terrorists.
Local sources said earlier on Monday that residents of several settlements, including Saqba, Kafr Batna and Hamouriyeh took to the streets and called for expulsion of terrorists from Eastern Ghouta.
The sources further said that the protestors hoisted the Syrian army flag and called for deployment of the pro-government forces to Eastern Ghouta.
The sources added that the terrorist groups have started kidnapping civilians to prevent them from leaving Eastern Ghouta amid rapid advances of the army men.
Aleppo
Local sources reported on Monday that more Kurdish combatants and military hardware have been sent to Afrin region in Northwestern Aleppo to face the Turkish Army and Ankara-backed militants.
The sources said that more Kurdish infantry units equipped with light arms left the town of Qamishli in Northern Hasaka for Afrin region as the Turkish forces and their allied militants are on the verge of isolating Afrin from Syrian territories within the framework of Operation Olive Branch.
Field sources said earlier on Monday that Deputy Commander of Ahrar al-Sham in Northern Aleppo Mohammad Abu Abdul was killed in clashes between the forces of Operation Olive Branch and the Kurdish combatants near the town of Afrin.
The Kurdish sources have reported heavy casualties of Ankara forces in Afrin.
Dara'a
The terrorist groups, backed up by the US forces deployed in Southern Syria, were preparing for a large-scale assault on the Syrian Army troops in Dara'a to further provide support for the militants trapped in the Eastern countryside of Damascus city, a media outlet reported on Monday.
According to Fars News Agancy, the Arabic-language al-Watan daily quoted Khalid al-Faraj, the Commander of Tajamo Towhid al-Ummah affiliated to the US-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA), as saying that the terrorist groups are preparing for an imminent large-scale operation against the Syrian Army troops in Dara'a to further assist their militant comrades that are under heavy attacks by the Syrian army men in Eastern Ghouta.
He further told al-Watan that the terrorists' attack will kick off in the next 48 hours, adding that the offensive will start from two flanks: one by the South Coalition towards the Death Triangle and another one by al-Jeidro Coalition towards Khirbet Qazala and Azra'a.
The terrorists' preparation for the operation came after the US deployed 200 more troops in al-Tanf base at Syria's border with Jordan that is home to the Joint Operation Room of the US and the FSA.
Also, a number of British Army officers have been dispatched to the border between Syria and Jordan.
