Local sources reported that the US warplanes have attacked the villages of al-Shafeh and Zahreh Alouni in Eastern Deir Ezzur, killing 29 civilians and injuring tens of others, most of them women and children.
The sources further said that the death toll would likely increase as some of the injured are in critical conditions.
