RNA - Netanyahu claimed at the Munich Security Conference on Sunday that his regime could “act” directly against Iran, showing off what he called a piece of an Iranian drone which the Israeli military claims to have downed more than a week ago.
Rezayee lambasted the Israeli premier's comments in an interview with Arabic-language al-Manar news channel on Monday, adding, "About Netanyahu's unwise words, I should say that if they carry out the slightest unwise move against Iran, we will level Tel Aviv to the ground and will not give any opportunity to Netanyahu to flee."
According to Fars News Agancy, he downplayed Netanyahu's remarks as a theatrical move and a childish game, and said, "The US and Israeli leaders don’t know Iran and don’t understand the power of resistance and therefore, they continuously face defeat."
Rezayee said the Americans who thought that they are the world's number one power after the collapse of the former Soviet Union are now growing weaker and weaker.
"Today, the situation of the US and Israel indicates their fear of the Zionist regime's collapse and the US decline," he added.
In relevant remarks on Sunday, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif lashed out at his remarks against Iran at the Munich Security Conference as "cartoonish circus".
"You were the audience for a cartoonish circus just this morning, which does not even deserve the dignity of a response. So let’s move to more serious issues," Zarif said, addressing the participants in Munich Conference.
