Rasa - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that the Munich Security Conference was an excellent opportunity to reiterate Iran’s proposal for multilateral approach to peace and stability in the Persian Gulf region.

RNA - "MunSecConf was excellent opportunity to continue or engage and reiterate Iran’s proposal for multilateral approach to peace and stability in the Persian Gulf region," Zarif wrote on his Twitter account on Sunday.

 

"Our message is clear: we’ll either win together or lose together," Zarif added.

 

According to Fars News Agancy, he reiterated that when collective efforts for establishing extensive peace and security in the Persian Gulf region lacks, "we will engage in conflicts" up to the next generations.

 

Zarif left Munich for Moscow Sunday night to take part in an international conference dubbed "Russian in Middle East: playing roles in all scenes" to be held on February 19 in Valdai Institute.

 

During the two-day event, thinkers and officials from 30 countries are to discuss various topics, including situation in Syria in post-ISIL era, prospects of Palestine-Israel conflict, Yemen situation, mechanisms for helping Libya and deescalate regional conflicts.

 

Zarif and his accompanying delegation were in Munich to attend the 54th Munich Security Conference held from February 16-18 in the German city.
