Hama
The Syrian Army troop repelled a heavy offensive of Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at or the Levant Liberation Board) in Southwestern Hama, inflicting major losses on the militants, field sources reported on Friday.
The sources said that the army men, backed up by the artillery units, engaged in fierce clashes with Al-Nusra West of the town of al-Salamiyah and near Beit al-Mahrouq in al-Satahiyat region and fended off their attack.
The Al-Nusra suffered heavy casualties and is military hardware sustained major damage in the failed attack.
In the meantime, the terrorists fired several rockets at Mahrada power plant in Western Hama, damaging part of it.
Earlier, the Syrian and Russian fighter jets pounded terrorists' movements and positions in Northern Hama, inflicting major losses on the militants.
The sources said that the warplanes carried out heavy bombardments against terrorists' strongholds in the small towns of Kafr Zita, al-Latamina and Morek in Northern Hama, inflicting major damage on their military hardware.
The sources further said that the terrorists, meantime, stormed the army's positions in the town of Mahrada in Northern Hama, but failed to prevail over the army's strongholds.
Deir Ezzur
The Syrian Army uncovered a large network of tunnels dug by the ISIL terrorists while combing through the Deir Ezzur countryside, a military source said on Friday.
According to the military source, the Syrian army was conducting a search-and-destroy mission in the Eastern Deir Ezzur, when they uncovered this web of tunnels near the town of Al-Mayadeen and Sabikhan region.
The source added that one of the tunnels was at least 500 meters long and contained a large cache of weapons, including assault rifles, ammunition, RPGs, and ATGMs.
This network of tunnels was believed to be used by the ISIL to carry out attacks against the Syrian Army in Eastern Deir Ezzur.
The army sources said earlier that they were carrying out cleansing operation in the villages of al-Sayal and Hasarat East of the town of Albu Kamal in Southeastern Deir Ezzur when they discovered several warehouses containing a large number of Israel-made missiles, rockets, mortars, shells, landmines and hand-made bombs.
In the meantime, the army men found a tunnel in the village of al-Sabikhan East of the town of al-Mayadeen that was used as a large workshop to manufacture arms and bombs, the sources said adding that a large quantity of unknown materials has also been found in the tunnel.
Aleppo
The Turkish Army troops and Ankara-backed militants managed to advance against the Kurdish fighters in four flanks within the framework of Operation Olive Branch in Afrin in Northern Aleppo, militant-affiliated sources reported on Friday.
According to Fars News Agancy, the sources said that the army forces and their allied militants stormed the Kurdish fighters' positions in Bolbol region and captured the villages of Dorqa and Dorakli.
The sources further said that the Operation Olive Branch forces also captured the village of Sharbanli and its hills and Shadya and Koudeh regions.
They added that the Turkish soldiers and their affiliated militants also drove the Kurds out of the village of Jaqlai Tahtani.
In the meantime, the village of Divan Foqani along the way to the town of Jandaris was captured by the Turkish troops and allied militants.
The Kurdish sources, meantime, reported that they retook control over the village of Koudeh in Rajou region after fierce clashes with the Turkish soldiers.
