RNA - The clashes broke out after an Israeli army force raided the Northern Mountain in Nablus and surrounded a building in order to arrest residents. At least five people were detained, WAFA reported.
Palestinians threw rocks at the force. Soldiers fired live ammunition at the Palestinians injuring at least 40 people with live bullets, six of them reported in serious condition, according to the Ministry of Health.
Al-Najah Hospital in Nablus said a Palestinian man identified as Khaled Walid Tayeh, 22, from Iraq al-Tayeh near Nablus, who was critically wounded from a gun wound to chest, has died of his wounds.
According to Fars news agancy, it stated another man who was shot in the thigh and the bullet penetrated the main artery in the leg is in critical condition and was admitted to surgery.
Another man who was run over by an army jeep is also in critical condition.
The clashes died down after the army left the city.
