RNA - The army units targeted the al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at or the Levant Liberation Board) terrorists' military positions in Southeastern Idlib after destroying the defense lines of terrorists there and managed to capture more strategic regions.
The Syrian troops killed several terrorists and injured many more in fierce clashes over controlling of the strategic regions. They also destroyed military equipment of the terrorists.
The Syrian army also continued its advances in other key provinces across Syria.
Idlib
The Syrian Army troops launched a fresh round of attacks on the strongholds of the al-Nusra Front in the town of Abu al-Dhohour in Southeastern Idlib on Monday and captured another strategic zone.
The army men stormed the Al-Nusra's positions and drove the terrorists out of al-Azu heights that overlooks a number of towns and villages near Abu al-Dhohour, including the al-Khafiyeh and supply road to Abu al-Dhohour from the North.
Also, the Syrian Air Force pounded terrorists' positions and movements in the region.
A field source reported that tens of Al-Nusra militants were killed or wounded and their equipment was destroyed in large scale.
Hama
The Syrian and Russian fighter jets conducted heavy bombardments on terrorists' strongholds in two towns in Northern Hama on Monday, inflicting major casualties on the terrorists.
The fighter jets pounded the terrorists-held towns of Kafr Zita and al-Latamina in Northern Hama, destroying a number of terrorists' positions and killing or wounding several militants.
The airstrikes were launched simultaneous with the Syrian Army’s renewed offensive in neighboring Idlib province.
Relevant reports said earlier that the Syrian army continued its military advances in Northeastern Hama by taking control of a strategic region, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists and destroying their military hardware and equipment.
The Syrian army troops managed to take control of Abu Hariraq village West of Toutah village.
The engineering units also immediately started their mop-up operations to establish their presence and reinvigorate their defense lines.
Damascus
The Syrian Army troops carried out an ambush operation against a group of terrorists in Eastern Ghouta, killing and wounding over 20 militants, field sources reported on Monday.
The sources said that the army men, in an ambush operation, stormed a group of Jeish al-Islam terrorists at the entrance of the town of Harazma in Eastern Ghouta, killing seven terrorists and wounding fifteen more.
Also, the army's missile and artillery units opened heavy fire at the positions and movements of Jeish al-Islam and Faylaq al-Rahman in the towns of Modira, Mesraba and Douma in Eastern Ghouta.
Aleppo
The Al-Nusra Front stormed the position of its once main ally, Nouralddeen al-Zinki, in Western Aleppo, and captured a number of rival militants, dissident-affiliated websites reported on Monday.
The news websites disclosed that the Al-Nusra attacked a command center of Kata'eb Thowar al-Sham affiliated to Nouralddeen al-Zinki terrorist group near al-Mohandeseen region in Western Aleppo and captured a number of the militants.
The websites further said that Nouralddeen al-Zinki fighters later launched a counterattack and captured several Al-Nusra terrorists.
