RNA - An NBC News/GenForward poll released Monday showed that 63 percent of millennials disapprove of the way Trump is handling the presidency. Forty-six percent say they strong disapprove, The Hill reported.

Meanwhile, 61 percent of millennials disapprove of the way Congress is handling its job, the poll found.

Nearly two thirds, or 63 percent, of millennials say the United States is not on the right track, according to the poll.

Eighteen percent of millennials said they believe the country is heading in the right direction. Another 18 percent said they aren't sure whether it is on a right or wrong path.

The disapproval comes at a time when Congress and the White House are battling a bruising battle over immigration and government spending.

Half of the millennials polled also said they either plan or are leaning toward voting for the Democratic candidate running in the upcoming 2018 midterm elections, while a quarter said they would support or are leaning toward the Republican candidate.

The other quarter of millennials said they are not planning to vote for either a Republican or Democratic candidate, which could suggest that they do not plan to cast a vote.

The poll, conducted between January 3-16, polled 1,844 adults between the ages 18-34 from a nationally representative sample that was recruited and administered by NORC at the University of Chicago. The overall margin of error for this sampling is plus or minus 3.95 percentage points.
