RNA - "Despite all shortfalls, the Islamic Republic of Iran, today, is stronger than ever in the region and the world," Amoli Larijani said.

Iran's judiciary chief also condemned the measures taken by US President Donald Trump against Iran while describing such measures as evident to Iran's growing powerful.

"It is the strength of the Islamic Republic that has made certain regional states as well as the arrogant powers to think twice before trying to harm the country," he added.

Amoli Larijani reiterated that a clear evident to Iran's power is that a person like Trump, as the president of a country which considers itself to be the most powerful country in the world, as evident in the tweets he writes and adopts stances, is constantly thinking about countering Iran.

Iran's judiciary chief said that with the increasing pace of Iran's power, the country is witnessing the heightening of threats of sanctions and attempts aimed at toppling the Iranian Islamic establishment.

"All the people and officials should join hands and protect the establishment that is the outcome of the sacrifices made by the Iranian martyrs and the struggle of the soldiers," he added.

In relevant remarks on Wednesday, the Iranian foreign ministry deplored US Vice-President Mike Pence for his allegations against Tehran, warning that Washington is after keeping the region in chaos and insecurity to the benefit of Israel.

The Iranian nation has for decades witnessed the US hostilities, including coup, capitulation, support for former Iraqi dictator Saddam in war against Iran and his use of chemical weapons, using a fake name for the Persian Gulf, cruel sanctions, downing of Iran's passenger plane over the Persian Gulf, disloyalty to the 2015 nuclear deal and impeding implementation of the internationally-endorsed agreement, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi said.

He stressed that "Iran has never been after nuclear weapons" and "its role and presence beside the Syrian and Iraqi governments and nations in fighting terrorism" was the most effective reason for the failure of certain trans-regional states and their regional allies in implementing their plots against the regional nations and independent governments.

Qassemi warned that the US permanent and fruitless attempts to create and produce artificial threats in the Persian Gulf and the Middle-East are only aimed at meeting the Zionist regime's interests, preventing unity among the Muslim states against the Israeli regime and gaining financial benefits through arms sales to the regional states.

His remarks came in reaction to Pence's recent allegations against Iran.

"The influence of Iran in the region is dangerous. The last thing that we want to see - after driving ISIS out of Iraq & on the cusp of driving ISIS out of Syria - is Iran and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard fill that vacuum. The U.S & our allies are not going to let it happen," he wrote on his twitter page.

“Punitive sanctions will be available for many years to come to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and you have our commitment to work closely with our allies around the world to achieve that,” he claimed while in Israel on Tuesday.
