Rasa - Israeli forces detained at least 12 Palestinians on Wednesday, including two minors, during raids across the occupied West Bank districts, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

RNA - It said Israeli forces detained two people from Hebron, in the South of the West Bank, including a 15-year-old minor. Another 16-year-old minor was detained in Jericho along with his 26-year-old brother, WAFA reported.

 

Forces also detained three Palestinians from Amari refugee camp in Ramallah, one of them identified as Jihad Abu Hmeid, 30, whose four brothers are serving life sentence in Israel for resisting the occupation, the PPS stressed.

 

Abu Hmeid and four of his family members, including children, were roughed up and handcuffed during the arrest of Abu Hmeid.

 

In addition, two were detained from the Jenin district, two more from Nablus and one from Qalqilya.

 

Israeli forces also detained 19 Palestinians, including a 14-year-old boy, during pre dawn raids Tuesday across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, according to the PPS, Ma'an News Agency reported.

 

PPS said in a statement that Israeli army forces detained Mohammad Samer Mansour, 14, from the central occupied West Bank district of Ramallah.

 

Meanwhile, the group reported that Israeli forces detained four Palestinians from the al-Arroub refugee camp in the Hebron district, four from the Yaabad town in the district of Jenin, four from Nablus, two from Salfit, two from Jerusalem, one from Toubas and one from Bethlehem.

 

Israeli raids into Palestinian towns and villages are near daily occurrence in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
