RNA – The al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, a Bahraini opposition group, severely condemned the decision of the American government to recognize al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of the Zionist regime, saying it’s a declaration of war against Arabs, Muslims and Christians all around the world.

“Declaring al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of the Zionist regime was made in favour of terrorism in the region and will destroy the stability in the Middle East,” the group noted.

Washington’s actions have raised a chorus of outcry across the international community. The Muslim world, the United Nations and even American allies in the West have warned against the implementation of this action and said it would plunge the already tumultuous region into new upheaval.

Palestinian leaders have declared Friday as the “day of rage” against Israel and the United States.

Protests are planned later Friday in the Palestinian territories and around the world against Washington’s decision to recognize al-Quds (Jerusalem) as Israel’s “capital.”
