RNA - The Zionists and their allies have plotted to disintegrate the regional states so that Israel will have the upper hand, Amir Abdollahian was quoted as saying by the Iranian media on Sunday.

"Saudi Arabia is also among the countries which are threatened by the danger of disintegration," he added.

Noting that Iran supports Saudi Arabia's unity and territorial integrity as it did in Iraq, Amir Abdollahian said, "There is a danger of disintegration and it is so serious that we cannot say that Saudi Arabia won't experience this danger in future."

In relevant remarks in May, Senior Advisor to the Iranian leader  for international affairs Ali Akbar Velayati underlined that his country has focused all its efforts on foiling plots to weaken and disintegrate the regional states.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran aims to prevent the regional countries' weakening and disintegration and it can play an important role in line with international peace and stability," Velayati said in a meeting with German Deputy Foreign Minister Markus Ederer in Tehran.

He underlined that Iran has always stood against enemy plots in the region and fought against terrorism to strengthen global peace and stability.

Velayati, meantime, voiced regret that certain countries aren’t interested in resolving regional problems and rather seek to further complicate them.
