RNA - The terrorists in Deir Ezzur province sustained heavy losses in tough battle with the Syrian army.
The Syrian army also continued its advances in other key provinces across Syria.
Deir Ezzur
The Syrian Army troops repelled ISIL's heavy offensive in the Eastern province of Deir Ezzur on Saturday, inflicting tens of casualties on the terrorists.
The Syrian Army came under heavy attacks after an ISIL contingent stormed the pro-government forces' positions in the Southern part of Deir Ezzur Province.
The terrorists marched towards a strategic position Southwest of the town of al-Makhan, but they met fierce resistance by the Syrian army units.
According to a battlefield report, the short-lived attack ended in complete disaster for ISIL commanders who called off the attack shortly after it began as Syrian troops destroyed their armored vehicles.
Furthermore, a large number of ISIL terrorists were killed and wounded as pro-government troops managed to fully liberate Deir Ezzur city from the Takfiri militants.
Quneitra
The Syrian Army troops and popular forces retook control over the entire positions they lost to the Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at or the Levant Liberation Board) in the town of Hader in Southeastern province of Quneitra on Friday, an Arab media outlet reported on Saturday.
The Arabic-language Elam al-Harbi said that the Syrian pro-government forces drove Al-Nusra out of their positions in Hader and restored security to the town and the region.
A large number of terrorists, including field commanders Sayel Hassan al-Eit nom de guerre Abu Zeid Azra'a, Abu Maqir al-Sini, Abu Abd al-Qanas and Seif Abu Es'haq were killed in the clashes.
The Al-Nusra military hardware also sustained major damage in the clashes.
A military source said that the Al-Nusra terrorists, backed up by Israel, intended to seize control over the road that connects Quneitra to Beit Jinn region Jabal (mount) al-Sheikh in Southwestern Damascus, but the army repelled their attack.
Hama
The Syrian Army troops intensified attacks on the defense lines of Al-Nusra Front on Saturday and captured several positions, including a small but strategic town in Northeastern Hama.
The army, backed up by hundreds of newly-arrived forces, resumed its large-scale operation in Northeastern Hama, targeting Al-Nusra's last positions near the Hama-Aleppo road.
The pro-government troops stormed the key town of al-Shakousiyeh North of the Ithriya-Sheikh Hilal Road and East of the militants' stronghold town of al-Rahjan, in Northeastern Hama.
The Army units finally established full control over al-Shakousiyeh and its surrounding farms.
The army soldiers are now on the Eastern outskirts of al-Rahjan, meaning that the Al-Nusra's stronghold is officially flanked as a result of al-Shakousiyeh’s liberation.
Damascus
Syrian news agency SANA reports that two civilians have been killed and several have received shrapnel wounds as a result of the terrorists' artillery attack.
According to reports, militants have opened fire on the center of the Syrian capital Damascus with several shells exploding in the central Abbasid square.
Sources in Syria's police office announced that shelling has caused significant material damage.
Over the past few months the number of shelling cases in the Old City of the Syrian capital has grown significantly.
