RNA – In an article published on his website elnafis.net, Dr. Ahmad Rasim al-Nafis, an Egyptian Shi’ah scholar, referred to the actions of the Saudi regime and wrote, “Saudi Arabia is taking steps toward becoming a young government by creating fear and intimidation in the world by spreading Takfiri terrorism and allocating huge sums of money for this phenomenon.”
He added that two years ago, when Russia decided to directly enter the Syrian conflict, the narrow-minded Saudis and their Qatari allies created a controversy and the terrorist Saudi shaykhs also considered the Russian-Shi’ah-Syrian coalition as a real war against the Sunnis and referred to the Takfiri terrorists as the “Defenders of the Islamic Ummah” and called for material and spiritual, political and military contributions to be given to them.
Dr. al-Nafis said, “From that time, Saudi Arabia has been financing the Takfiri terrorist groups and providing them with weapons but the country’s goals have been met with frustration. Saudi Arabia’s illusions were much bigger than the size of this country and the alarm of danger was sounded for this country after the attack on Yemen.”
He said that it seems King Salman ibn Abdul-Aziz Al Saud bowed to Vladimir Putin and the Russian government during his recent trip to Russia and added that this visit was the result of Al Saud’s defeat in all wars, including Syria and Yemen, and the failure of its project to spread its influence in the region has benefited Iran and Turkey.
The Egyptian scholar continued, saying, “The Zionist website debka.com said that the aim of King Salman’s trip to Russia was to reduce the influence of Iran in opposition to the acceptance of the achievements of the Syrian Arab Republic. Saudi officials do not understand that their defeat in Syria did not occurred due to the power of a certain group but rather it was achieved due to the power and sacrifices of a coalition which stood against the terrorists.”
Referring to Saudi Arabia’s inability to achieve its goals due to the formation of the coalition, Dr. al-Nafis said that another of the Al Saud’s problems is the weapon of terrorism which they had used to impose their will and said, “Saudi Arabia has not only reached a stage of bankruptcy, it can no longer demonstrate its power by scaring others with Osamah bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri and other terrorist leaders.”
In conclusion, he noted King Salman’s words about the transfer of war to Iran and said, “The Al Saud has lost its second weapon – the combination of terrorism and bribery. The United States and the Zionist regime are also in as bad of a state as their Saudi allies and instead of supporting the Al Saud, they are compensating for their defeats.”
