Israel

Rasa - Rateb al-Jabour, a member of the committee of resistance against Zionist settlement, said the Zionist forces attacked a village in southern al-Khalil on Tuesday evening and warned the villagers against broadcasting Muslim call to prayer (Adhan).

Zionist forces said the reason behind this decision is that residents of the Ma’oun Zionist settlement have asked officials not to let Muslims to broadcast Muslim call to prayers because “the sound bothers them.”

Zionist troops also warned that they would attack the village if they broadcast the Call to Pray from mosque speakers.

The residents of Tavaneh village are always being harassed by Zionist settlers living in Ma'un Township.

Zionist regime passed a law last February which bans broadcasting Call to Prayer from mosque speakers.

The law faced backlash and opposition of many Islamic countries and international institutions from around the world.
