Syria in Last 24 Hours:
Rasa - The Syrian army continued its military operations in Eastern Hama by purging terrorists from a strategic region.
Syrian Forces

RNA - The army units drove back the ISIL terrorists from a key village in Aqayrabat region in Eastern Hama.

 

The Syrian troops killed several terrorists and injured many more in fierce clashes over controlling of the strategic region. They also destroyed military equipment of the terrorists.

 

The Syrian army also continued its advances in other key provinces across Syria.

 

Hama

 

The Syrian Army troops stormed ISIL's defense lines in Eastern Hama and imposed full control over a strategic region on Tuesday.

 

The army men engaged in though battle with ISIL in Eastern Hama and drove terrorists out of the key village of Akash in Aqayrabat region West of the town of Souha.

 

Also, the army's artillery and missile units pounded ISIL's positions in the region, inflicting heavy casualties on the militants.

 

In the meantime, the Syrian and Russian fighter jets carried out several air raids over ISIL-held villages and towns in Eastern Hama. 

 

Idlib

 

The Syrian Air Force targeted a large arms and ammunition depot of Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hayat or the Levant Liberation Board) in Southeastern Idlib on Tuesday, damaging the depot.

 

The warplanes carried out several combat flights over Al-Nusra Front's positions in Abu al-Dhuhour military airport and bombed a depot of weapons and arms.

 

The depot was badly damaged and a large number of terrorists were killed in the air raid.

 

Relevant reports said last month that nine terrorists of Al-Nusra Front were killed and several more were wounded in a large blast in the Northwestern city of Idlib.

 

Nine Al-Nusra members were killed and several more were wounded in a huge explosion near the Municipality Sports Stadium in the militant-held city of Idlib.

 

In the meantime, Al-Nusra announced that a number of its forces were injured in the explosion of vehicles carrying ammunitions.

 

Deir Ezzur

 

The ISIL terrorist group's warlord Abu Osama Tunisi was killed along with a number of militants in clashes with the Syrian Army soldiers in Southeastern Deir Ezzur on Tuesday.

 

The army men engaged in a tough battle with ISIL in Khusham and Hatlah Fowqani regions, killing a number of terrorists, including Abu Osama Tunisi, a war emir (commander) of the terrorist group.

 

In the meantime, the Syrian Air Force pounded ISIL's positions in the villages and towns of al-Janineh, al-Hosseiniyeh, Hatlah, Mouhassan, Sa'alou, al-Tayebeh, Bu Leil and al-Salehiyeh.

 

The army aircraft also bombed heavily ISIL's movements in the neighborhoods of Kanamat, al-Hamidiyeh, al-Arzi, Khasarat and Sheikh Yaseen, killing and wounding a large number of terrorists and destroying their positions and military hardware in large scale.

 

Earlier reports said that the Syrian Air Force carried out a number of combat sorties over ISIL positions and movements in Southeastern and Eastern Deir Ezzur, killing and wounding a large number of them and destroying their military hardware.

 

The army aircraft pounded ISIL's strongholds and movements in the town of Mouhassan and al-Mayadeen in Southeastern Deir Ezzur and in the villages of Baqras Tahtani and Tayebeh Shamiyeh in the Eastern part of the province.

 

Also, the warplanes bombed heavily ISIL's movements in the village of Feiziyeh Bin Moyna'a 85km Southwest of Deir Ezzur city.

 

A military source confirmed that ISIL suffered heavy casualties and their positions and military vehicles sustained major damage in the air raids.

 

Damascus

 

The Syrian Army soldiers continued their advances against terrorists in Eastern Ghouta and managed to kill 14 gunmen on Tuesday, including Jeish al-Islam military commander.

 

A total of 14 terrorists, including Rami Hassan Nezha nom de guerre Abu Wasim, a field commander of Jeish al-Islam were killed in the army forces' operation in Hawsh al-Zawahereh in Eastern Ghouta.

 

The army men managed to take control over six positions of the terrorists in Hawsh al-Zawahereh and fortified them.

 

Also, a military source reported that the army units forced terrorists to retreat from their defense lines to Hawsh al-Zawahereh farms.

 

The terrorists' military equipment sustained major damage in the clashes, the source added.

 

Homs

 

The Syrian Army troops continued to hit the defense lines of ISIL terrorists that are under the pro-government forces' siege in the Central part of the country and seized control over three more villages in Eastern Homs on Tuesday.

 

The army men engaged in heavy fighting with ISIL and captured the villages of al-Qasemiyeh al-Shamali, Rabi'eh and Maqizal Northeast of Jubb al-Jarah.

 

A military source said that ISIL suffered heavy casualties, adding that the army's engineering units are now demining the newly-captured regions.
