R‌NA - Sheikh Hussein al-Dhaihi, the Deputy Secretary General of the al-Wefaq Islamic community, called on the Bahraini people to “be vigilant and aware of al-Khalifa regime’s attempts to shut down the Bahraini popular revolution,” in a speech delivered on the occasion of the coming of Hosur Ashura.

Referring to al-Wefaq movement as a national opposition movement advocating dialogue, he added: "Bahrain needs a government that can realize social justice for all citizens without exception."

“Bahrain is in a very dangerous situation and the political crisis between the government and the nation is expanding,” he added.

Al-Khalifa signaled the world that Bahrain is in crisis

The Bahraini cleric considered the Bahraini popular revolution as the only movement that “support stability in the country”, saying: "The Bahraini regime with its crimes, especially house arrest of Ayatollah Shaykh Isa Qassim, signaled the people of the world that Bahrain is in a genuine crisis. There is no need for demonstration of thousands of citizens in the streets. The al-Khalifa regime proved that there is a crisis going on in the country.”

He described the belief that the Bahraini revolution is doomed to fail as ‘illusory’ adding: "The Al-Khalifa regime is completely defeated and its predictions appeared to be completely wrong. The Bahraini people are fully acquainted with the regime and are well aware of its tools and facilities.”

‘Sheikh Isa Qassim key to solving the Bahrain crisis’

Sheikh Al-Dhaihi described the vast and magnificent support of the Bahraini people from Sheikh Isa Qassim as "the cause of al-Khalifa’s disappointment" and pointed out: "What's currently going on around the house of Sheikh Isa Qassim indicates that the people still have hope in their hearts. Sheikh Isa Qassim is the guarantor of security of Bahrain and the key to the resolution of the crisis."

"No matter how much the al-Khalifa regime relies on its regional and international support, they will surely end up with failure. The regime's deceptive efforts to circumvent the demands of the nation need public awareness, and the regime should not be allowed to create a division in our revolution,” he continued.

The continuation of the revolution is a national and religious duty

The Head of al-Wefaq al-Islamiya described end of political solutions as “start of new crisis in the country” and said: "Today, more than ever before, the country is need of a political solution in order to realize social justice to all citizens more."

He urged people “not to step back from demanding wellbeing of their homeland and its stability and progress more than ever.”

He also described ‘demanding legitimate rights of the Bahraini people’ as “a religious and national responsibility” and added: "We and other national opposition parties are supporting the dialogue and the we are the only owners of the political and national projects to build a better future for all Shiites and Sunnis so that social justice will dominate the country.”

Hujjat al-Islam Al-Daiyi emphasized that some are trying to influence the will of the nation based on projects such as normalizing relations with the Zionist regime and supporting Takfiri groups to divide Islamic Ummah so that political stability in the region would be eliminated. But Bahrainis are still loyal to important Islamic matters, especially the cause of Palestine.

The Bahraini cleric continued with reference to “the nation's sacrifice in support of its Shiite leader.”

“Bahraini people resisted on the day security forces raided the house of Sheikh Isa Qassem just like their Imam in Ashura and created an epic.”

Bahrain's al-Wefaq deputy secretary general said: "What happened at the home of this great scholar of Islam and the great religious and national leader in Bahrain was a symbol of dynamism of the Bahraini people, and the rejection of oppression and humiliation.”

In the end of his speech about Al-Khalifa's attempt to normalize relations with the Zionists, he stated that the Bahraini people were loyal to the Palestinian cause and will never accept al-Khalifa's “treacherous projects”.
