RNA - The army units captured village of Abu Hanaya East of the village of Qalib al-Thor in Eastern Hama.
Meantime, the Syrian army and popular forces continued their military advances in other parts of Syria, including Deir Ezzur, Homs and Damascus, over the past 24 hours.
Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in other provinces across Syria.
Hama
The Syrian Army troops pushed the ISIL back from one more key region on Monday, inching closer to the liberation of the remaining lands still under terrorists' occupation in Eastern Hama.
The army soldiers continued to hit ISIL terrorists trapped in a region in Eastern Hama and Northeastern Homs and captured the village of Abu Hanaya East of the village of Qalib al-Thor.
In the meantime, the Syrian and Russian fighter jets and the army's artillery targeted ISIL's positions in the village of Abu Hanaya, al-Hardaneh and Abu Habilat in Northern Hama, killing tens of terrorists.
Deir Ezzur
The Syrian Army troops imposed control over nearly 65 percent of Deir Ezzur city as they continue to march on the remaining pockets of land still held by the ISIL on the Western bank of the Euphrates River, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on Monday.
The Army men expanded the range of their advances on the Western bank of the Euphrates River and captured the regions of Hawayej Umas'ah, Hawayeh Abu Arab, al-Khariteh (Ein Abu Jomaah), Haj Hamoud Farms, Saleh al-Hamd, Hawayej Shamiyeh and several oilfields West of Ein Abu Jomah, the SOHR reported, adding that the army has 64.3 Percent of Deir Ezzur area under its control.
Field sources reported earlier on Monday that a Saudi commander of ISIL and 29 more terrorists were killed in the Syrian Army troops' operation in the Northwestern countryside of Deir Ezzur city.
The sources confirmed that Abu Obeideh al-Najdi, a Saudi Emir of ISIL in the Northwestern countryside of Deir Ezzur city, was killed along with 29 terrorists in clashes with the army soldiers.
The army is now pushing to secure the remaining towns and oilfields under ISIL’s control in the Northwestern countryside of Deir Ezzur province.
Damascus
Several militants of Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at or the Levant Liberation Board) were killed and several more were wounded in clashes with Faylaq al-Rahman rival terrorists in Eastern Ghouta on Monday.
Al-Nusra and Faylaq al-Rahman engaged in heavy fighting near the town of Kafr Batna in Eastern Damascus, leaving eight Al-Nusra terrorists dead and several more wounded.
Faylaq al-Rahman's Spokesman Wael Alwan said on Sunday that one of the key media activists of Jeish al-Islam was killed in exchange of fire with the rival terrorists of Faylaq al-Rahman in Eastern Ghouta.
Alwan said that Faylaq al-Rahman's terrorists opened fire at a group of Jeish al-Islam terrorists that intended to approach Fayalq's positions near Hamouriyeh in Eastern Ghouta, leaving Khaled al-Omari, one of the media activists of Jeish al-Islam, dead and some others wounded.
Alwan urged Jeish al-Islam to retreat from the region as soon as possible to put an end to the provocations.
Homs
The Syrian Army forwarded a large number of soldiers and a large volume of military hardware to Eastern Hama and Northeastern Homs to free the remaining regions still under the control of ISIL terrorists in the Central part of the country, a military source reported Monday.
The sources said that the army has dispatched a large number of soldiers and a large volume of military equipment, including tanks, to the Central part of the war-hit country to join the pro-government forces to intensify attacks on ISIL and drive them out of the remaining swathes of lands under the terrorists' control in Eastern Hama and in Northeastern Homs.
Syria-Iraq Border
The Syrian Army troops fended off ISIL's heavy attack on the pro-government forces' positions in Eastern Homs near the border with Iraq on Monday, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.
The army men engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL around the town of Humeimeh in Eastern Homs and repelled their heavy offensive.
The army units killed a large number of terrorists, mostly non-Syrians, in the clashes.
Field reports said that ISIL called for dispatch of fresh fighters during the battle.
The Syrian Army General Command announced in statement on Sunday that the Iraqi government forces launched a fresh round of anti-ISIL operation codenamed Val Fajr 3 to push terrorists away from the borderline with Iraq.
The statement said that the army and popular forces kicked off Val Fajr 3 operation to accomplish the earlier phases, Val Fajr 1 and 2 operations that ended with recapturing a large region East of al-Dhumayr up to the borders with Jordan, al-Basiri triangle region up to the borders with Iraq, third station and the road from the town of al-Sukhnah to Deir Ezzur.
It also said that the Val Fajr 3 operation was aimed at liberating a region North of Shareh al-Wa'ar and Wadi al-Ratimeh and al-Qazlaniyeh region near the border with Iraq to the second station near the Albu Kamal region in Southeastern Deir Ezzur.
